match was worthless, why would punk kick out of any pinfall? it was in his best interest to lose to stop the 3way match.

the guys put on a good show, but that last stip was dumb

I am beginning to think that PUNK has had backstage heat on him all this time and they are attempting to permanently bury him in the most unrecoverable fashion they can think of.

Striker's awesome on the mic. One hell of a talker....

He's not quite as great as The Genius, Lanny Poffo....but he'll do.

He should get pushed in a league where undersized wrestlers with good mic skills are appreciated.

I dont think that WWE will let him work for ROH.

UGh, just found out that Mike Adamle is a local. Ergh He's from Kent, Ohio.....

Guy's a stain.

I just bought Take no Prisoners today on DVD... can't wait!!

That said... Cena and Batista do nothing for me. I hope they get destroyed by PRICELESSSSSSSSSSSS

Ted DiBiase is wrestling and is some 20ish year old kid?

I haven't watched wrestling in a while, so can someone fill me in on if this is a relative or something?

RAW ENDS WITH CENAS MUSIC

THE CHAMP IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why haven't you put a revolver to your temple yet?

It bugged me that Cena/Dave were the main event, meanwhile the #1 contenders match for the World Title is in the middle of the show.

Some of us are old enough to remember Hogan's bullshit... he's the same mold of meatheads who cant work a match to save their lives.

The problem? Half the fucking crowd wasn't booing Hogan all the damn time.

b-b-but Hogan was a REAL AMERICAN!!! why boo him??

Call it fair. If you're booing Hogan you're booing Ultimate Warrior and anointing guys like Mr. Perfect and Bret Hart as your gods.

Man, I don't even care how bad Cena sucks. Because Batista sucks WAY more. That guy is the most un inspired piece of shit to wrestle I've seen in fucking ages. Look at DDP. Guy began training hard at his mid 30s and became a fucking good wrestler and could have a good match with ANYBODY. Fucking Batista seems like he's on auto pilot half of the damn match. His match style really does not help every body and he almost fucking killed Youmanga back at Wrestlemania with that body slam. It puzzles me why the hell people like that guy. Errr.

Truthfully though Outcast, the crowd did side with Sid Justice way more than Hogan in that royal rumble finish. =p

CM Punk continues to flounder as world heavyweight champion. He does the job after a quick rollup and the world heavyweight championship is in the midcard. I wouldnt be su prised if Cena and Batista Main Evented Summerslam.

As well you should. It's a damn shame Hennig never held the world title. The guy had it all.

meh.... you've always had your spectacles in wrestling and your legitimate talent.. nothing has changed for, what.... 40 years? and it is VERY common for the spectacle to outshine (or at least be pushed past) the legitimate talent. because at the end of the day, people would much rather pay to see the absurdity of it all, as opposed to two seaty guys grabbing each other not matter how technically proficient they are.. nothing has really changed, ever. There just happens to be a few great periods in wrestling history where the spectacle happened to BE the good talent. but those times are very very very few and far between. it just stings bad when you can easily remember back to them as if they weren't all that long ago.

Not like it is the first time this has happened recently. Especially when HHH didn't have the title and someone other than Cena did. It really drives home the fact that the titles are nothing more than props nowadays. Props used to get people over. But I can see CM winning at Summerslam, then starting to get the main event status afterwards. Let's be honest. Dave/Cena are bigger stars than Punk, they have made more money for the company. They are (hopefully) using the belt to get Punk to where he needs to be. But just throwing him in the main event slot from the get go isn't going to work. Prove himself to the fans at the mid-card, then get a main event battle to keep the belt.

--The Smackdown angle with Mick Foley may be interesting since Foley's contract expires shortly and his long-term as a Smackdown announcer is in question. It was expected he would be off tomorrow's show in the guise of selling the angle but that wasn't certain.

Several sources indicate that Foley is fed up with getting yelled at in his headset by Vince McMahon and is disgruntled with the current arrangement.

Wouldn't surprise me. It's not like Foley needs the money.

He's stated many times that's he's been VERY smart with his money. He's doing it because he wanted to. But having Vince screaming in your ear all the damn time would be pretty damn trying.

This. Just like Kofi Accra, Chad Michael Pepsi needs the slow build so they can be immortalized in the future. And remember, I still think business will pick up once they can get the Orton-Punk thing going. I see that as a good future rivalry.

Mick Foley's latest run with WWE could conclude at Summer Slam. His contract is set to expire soon and he's uncertain whether he wants to move forward with his role as a Smackdown color commentator. There are some lingering bad feelings that stem from Vince McMahon coming down hard on Foley while producing him through the headsets one week back when Foley was still working with Michael Cole. Foley was so bothered by what McMahon said to him over the headsets that he called him later that night to discuss the situation.

Although the buzz is that Vince has toned things down while producing Foley since then, Mick is still bothered by the way he and other announcers have been produced. The ball is in Foley's court in the sense that WWE wants him to re-sign, but he wants to know that he'll have fun doing the job and won't have to put up with Vince's maniacal rants. Foley is expected to appear at Summer Slam in some capacity. That show is viewed as a possible end date for Foley if he chooses not to re-sign with the company.

Powell's POV: There is a chance Foley won't appear on television this week so that he can sell the angle he did with Edge that aired on Friday's Smackdown. However, the Edge angle was not written with a possible blowoff in mind or to get him off television, and there is still a chance that he could appear on the show this week. A well-placed source said Foley will be at Summer Slam in some capacity, yet put the odds of him appearing beyond that show at 50-50.

Vince is notoriously tough on his broadcasters and the feeling is that Foley was never exposed to that side of his personality during his wrestling days. Foley is known as a sensitive guy and he took Vince's harsh words personally. He's saved his money over the years and the feeling is that he'll walk away if he doesn't feel like he's in a positive work environment.

i think an Orton v Punk feud could be really cool. let alone the fact that it'd be a true young blood title feud, but on top of that you could have Punk besting Orton (at least initially), setting up the storyline of how the Legend Killer can't kill someone who's not a legend.

"Mr. Kennedy dislocated his shoulder Monday night in Macon in a match with U.S. Champion Shelton Benjamin and looks to be out of action for a few weeks depending on the results of his latest MRI. "

from JR's blog

I know you guys don't give a fuck and everybody hates him :'(

Eddie Guerrero really didn't like this final chair chot ! Kennedy is doomed now !

This Admale character is bullshit...Regal was the next true good heel geneal manager who got real good heat.

Poor Bischoff...the best GM on RAW.

is anyone gonna pick up the TNA Impact game next month?

trying to gauge interest for a potential GAF league...
