Not so much "quicktime events", but more interactive stuff during "cutscenes". Like in COD MW2 where you have theMegadrive said:there were quick time events in cod4? I don't remember. As much as i hated (yes, hated) all ghillied up and the rescue heli pilot missions, they are what still sticks out to me about the game. I think cod4 really put the player in your soldier's shoes by giving even a limited amount of freedom of movement to the player during cutscenes. It sure made thethat much more hard-hitting, for instance.nuke

so it's just like the comic then
That's a good price for a local release. It's a pity it costs about the same as this shipping from Amazon, though:legend166 said:JB Hi-Fi will be selling Epic Mickey for $69. Awesome.

Nice guess, but wrong.Choc said:NFS is a flagship title. The EA digital service is being promoted first to try and get most sales from there.
Accents and different languages?MrSerrels said:But why the hell is voice control region locked. Makes absolutely no sense whatsover. Someone in Montreal can't use it while the dude in New York can. So retarded.
Fredescu said:Nice guess, but wrong.
Yeah, this is what makes no sense. EA obviously wants to promote their own (shit) store because then they will get 100% of the money. But in the same breath make games available on D2D, GamersGate and Impulse but not on Steam. Fucking EA.Fredescu said:Nice guess, but wrong.

EA is extremely strange when it comes to Steam. MoH, Deathspank, and Shank are actively marketed on there. FIFA Manager is there but FIFA is not. Spore is there but the Sims is not. NFS: Shift is on there, but Hot Pursuit is not. Every missing game is available on D2D which itself has a large market share.
Speaking about the CE- is there a PAL version- if so anyone doing good prices for it- both import and locally?Clipper said:That's a good price for a local release. It's a pity it costs about the same as this shipping from Amazon, though:
They've been very good for me, often next day, but I'm in Sydney and I'm fairly sure their warehouse is here.Shaneus said:What are delivery times for launch games from Game.com.au like? Melbourne CBD here. Just checking for GT5:CE.
And every other game is $80! Awesome!markot said:Crysis is like 11 bucks on it right now, and wars is for 11 too >.>!
I don't think there's a local version. Somebody (EB perhaps?) has a pre-order campaign to get the Mickey figurine, but I think that's all you get.trinest said:Speaking about the CE- is there a PAL version- if so anyone doing good prices for it- both import and locally?

I didn't say my suggestion was a good reason. But the software is probably only designed mainly to work with American accents. Which do vary a lot anyway.MrSerrels said:But really? It works in the UK, and that's full of the most bizarre different accents you can find.

Game ships from QLD I'm pretty sure.Fredescu said:They've been very good for me, often next day, but I'm in Sydney and I'm fairly sure their warehouse is here.

For the import, I'd say Amazon is a good price (US$64) , but they don't seem to be offering me the same shipping options that they were when I ordered mine any more, so it might only be worth it if you have a friend who can ship it to you. It seems the cheapest shipping at the moment is $20.
It also seems ozgameshop has the UK standard version for AU$40 shipped.
I agree- was going to get it from ozshop if there wasn't a CE or anything. Seen the price in the email they sent out- I was like "wait- what" haahaa.legend166 said:Wat.
I was going to buy from JB so I could get it on release, but that price is too good to refuse.
