Find it strange that while 95% of GAF spooged over Killzone 2 I thought it was garbage on a disc, and yet now that I ADORE Killzone 3, GAF hates it?

$5au. Universal app. It is pretty fucking great.

And Minter's new game comes out in the next few days. Good Christ all mighty I love iOS gaming right now.

Is Speedball 2 the newer remake with the option of older graphics, or is it just the original?

PS. Bitmap Brothers should become iPhone devs. Could clean up massively.

I have a new office on a new floor with a window that looks directly over and onto the Batman Building, a piece of infrastructure that I have been fascinated in for years. Now that I can see it so closely, the magic is starting to wear off.

There is a colleague on my floor who has a very plain print-out on his desk that reads ‘West Ham is the best!’ and has the Hammers’ logo on it.

Bitmap Brothers is involved with the development of this. Well to be more specific, Bitmap Brother Mike Montgomery, who owns all the BB stuff now. And Jon Hare is part of the team that did this version, so you know at least two people care about it being faithful. So depending on the success of this, there'll be more Bitmap Brothers games and even Sensible Software games coming to iOS :)

It's...more like a reskin of the original, with new arenas added in.

The day I decided once and for all QANTM was a pile of shit was the day I went in and the teacher decided to just make us all watch the bonus 'Making of' Metal Gear Solid 2 videos that came with the game. It cost me $20 to go to class that day. I was not happy.

If you've not touched the DS catalog up until now, I can recommend Hotel Dusk, 9 Doors 9 Hours 9 People, Ghost Witness, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, the Chrono Trigger remake if you haven't played the original and that first Advance Wars DS version, if you'd into the way Intelligent Systems makes TBS for portables.

God damn video games.

Worse comes to worst you can sell it on ebay for $30 just like all those cat helmets from Halo 3. Actually better yet buy a cat helmet for $30 from ebay and put it on Geralt bust.

I got a DS Lite way back when they first came out in 06, but I sold it 2 or 3 years ago.

I just bought TrackMania DS off eBay, so I'll see if I can find some of the ones you listed.

I almost feel like not going to lectures simply because of this one assdick in our class who keeps yelling out shit, completely out of turn, with no constructive elements adding to what's being taught.

This guy actually decided that he, instead of the lecturer, should answer some kid's question by loudly shouting "I CAN ANSWER THIS: blah blah etc" over the top of the teacher.

I don't know what the fucking hell possesses this guy to be such an idiot but I think I will try and complain to the lecturer or coordinator to see if someone can tell this guy to, at the minimum, raise his fucking hand and wait for the lecturer to ask him to speak.

He's in all three of my classes. One of which has 200 students in it, which he compensates by yelling even louder his stupid shit. He doesn't do it quite as often because I don't think he understands this class, but you can bet if there's something he can relate to in the slideshow (such as the word "turtle") he'll belt out something.

I'm (I think) halfway through level 19 of Portal now.... but owwwww..... I'm going to need to finish it later.

3D disorientation headache :( My eyeballs feel like they've been slow-boiled. I thought it was just Bioshock that did it.

I can't believe some asshole is that confident to actually do that though. Most of the folks I've encounted in lectures either talk amongst themselves or just initiate dead-blank stare lecture mode.

okay it's actually because I can't spell when hand writing - I can only spell when using a keyboard. I don't mean spellcheck, it's just that I can remember the muscle memory for typing words way easier than I can for writing something out with a pen.

Pretty sure they won't be carts.

Also, you need to be careful when buying ds games off ebay. For example, when they say not compatible with dsi, it means they're bootleg copies.
