The trouble, at the end of the day is that these are kids. The girls send nude pictures to their boyfriends, official or prospective, in an effort to get them to like them. It's something that comes from an attempt to get approval. They don't think about the toxic incentives on the boys to use these pictures to brag and get respect from their peers. They don't think about how it leaking out might affect them in the future. They live in a world where their immediate social challenges are all encompassing - the law is an irrelevance. This high school nudes sharing scandal is fucking nuts.
Saw actual human adults on Facebook comments victim blaming for taking nudes and sharing them with people they mistakenly trusted
Dumb fucks. "It's child pornography to take a nude selfie and send it on to your partners!" Yeah you fucking derro consider that perhaps the law isn't omnipotent and contains the solution to all problems?
That said, what scandal? I hadn't heard anything about it. Or have journalists rediscovered those same sites from last year.
