I put in $15 for Wasteland since none of the higher tiers interest me.

$55 for The Banner Saga since that includes all three episodes they plan to release plus other stuff.

Well that photo was something. Not the nicest thing to capture people in but it is done so hopefully it elicits a response from the rest of the world to get off their arse and help.

War never changes.

I wonder if my SSD is dying again or it's just something iffy that's causing my comp to slow down and freeze up during a network to usb file transfer. Along with chrome just sucking lately, But i think that's down to v18.
How full is your SSD? Mine is near capacity and runs a little slower but the bottleneck is still the USB device. Also had no problems with Chrome at all lately, aside from the usual irritating form filling that has never seemed to work 100% (well, 70% for me) of the time for me.

Not very full. Chrome seems to just freeze up on random pages, sometimes with flash or whatever on a site. It's been doing it on the Mac as well at work, so I'm using opera as a backup at both locations. If only it had the same addins I would prob go back to opera.

I wouldn't mind another fresher system. I always end up randomly installing shitty apps then uninstalling them.

Yea i've been meaning too do that, I just need to find the best software for it. Suggestions?

I used to use ghost, but for the last couple I have just used the built in win7 tool. In control panel (in category mode) it's under "System and Security", "Backup and Restore", "Create a system image".

Easy to use and quick to restore.

I forgot all about that. That will do the job.

How much would I expect to get for a used Skyward Sword Limited Edition pack?

I really want to get rid of it soon as I'm selling off a lot of my stuff. Apparently, when you try to trade it in JB makes no distinction between a normal copy and the Limited Edition pack. Ha, get stuffed.

As in, with the gold Remote? $70-$90, looking at completed listings on eBay. The one with the just the CD basically was the normal copy and looks to be $30-$50 on eBay.

It's got the gold remote. I've never sold anything on eBay but I guess there's a first time for everything, but I only have around 2 weeks before I leave for my new life.

Trying to signup for the Nintendo Club and it keeps giving me a login error :/
Do I have to enter it in Japanese or something?

Have you tried clearing all the Chrome data and letting it repopulate?

VOOK

We don't know why he keeps buying PAL, either.
It scares me that Vooks is ranked 12th on Google for Mass Effect Porn, that means someone is actually going to the second page of Google in search of it.

Who looks at the second page of Google?!

Obviously the second page of google is where the best porn is at.

Was Last Window an import? Apart from a brief window around the 3DS launch, UK codes don't work on our Club Nintendo.

The Zelda posters are pretty nice based on the few pictures I've seen.

Stir Fry is so easy and delicious.

Marinade beef. Chop vegetables. Fry beef. Remove beef. Fry vegetables. Add beef. Eat everything.

Om nom nom.

Didn't know where else to put it..

Telstra doing something awesome for once? Apparently they're helping bring MOG over.

http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2012/0...ad-cap-will-help-its-streaming-music-service/

My Rdio trial finished recently, but I haven't bitten on a subscription cos I haven't really checked out what else was out there. I know Spotify still isn't out here, and I haven't really heard of the rest. Anybody have any experience with the music services available here?

Went for my first run/walk since deciding to get fit a month ago. Are chests meant to pain like this? Also forgot to turn Endomondo on until 2km into the walk/jog. I wish Fitocracy was on Android by now, Endomondo has a great app but Fitocracy seems to have a MUCH better community and tracking system. Plus Endomondo links with only Facebook, fuck that noise.

It is indeed an import since we never got it. Strange since it seems like the one 3DS game I have (Pro Evo) looks like a UK version with a local classification sticker slapped on the front.

Zelda posters might have to be the choice.

To be honest my extent digitally is Bandcamp. Everything else I import or order direct from the artist.

Plus all my illegal downloads I guess.

I usually hate all reality tv, but The Voice is actually ok.

I'm half watching for Delta, though.
Better off jumping on Youtube and just mute her music videos.

I didn't realise it was that bad... Is it a complicated procedure to get them out?

I haven't had them, but I know people who have, family members included.

There are four ways to get rid of a kidney stone. Some of them aren't an option depending on the size/density/location of the stone.
  • Pass it naturally (piss it out) which is absolute hell by all accounts
  • Assisted passing, using a ureteroscope or endoscope
  • Have a focused shock wave to blast it into pieces (I believe this is called Extracorporeal Shock-Wave Lithotripsy)
  • Surgery
All of these methods are unpleasant to varying degrees.

If you want to avoid kidney stones, drink plenty of water, don't drink any soft-drinks, reduce alcohol intake, keep salt intake low, and be moderate with dairy intake as many kidney stones are made from calcium. A good diet will help too, so plenty of fruit and veg will do you the world of good as potassium and magnesium help stave them off. Bananas, kiwi-fruit, broccoli, mushrooms, and tomatoes are your friends (it helps that they're all delicious). Here's some bad news though, as there are some foods which help the formation of kidney stones: beans, beetroot (nooo), green capsicum, spinach, cocoa/chocolate, peanuts and red meat (meant to cut down to very small servings, noooo); I love all those foods but cutting out red meat and beetroot ruins a good homemade burger, ah well, moderation is the key. With plenty of water to flush those kidneys out, I think it's less of a problem.

Water intake is meant to be about 2L per day. That varies depending on temperature and such. I use my piss as a guide, light and clear is the colour I want to see, though probably easier for dudes to monitor this.

Kidney stones are amongst my greatest fears, so I obey all the tips above.

I drink like 4L of water a day and I'm like Goldmember up in this thang.

Probably bacon related. :(
Totally worth it.

Also creepy Shaneus, I had JUST had a look through the Cosplay thread before my shower and thought I was looking at the wrong thread :/

If I was more into music, I'd probably be more into getting physical things. It was that recent music game linked to on gaf that kind of rekindled my interest in music, actually. Rdio's content wasn't that comprehensive, but its interface was easy enough to use that I could have it going on in the background at work. Rara's just offered me a similar trial, so we'll see how that goes.

Thanks for the zavvi round-up, btw.
