I'm sick of retailers whinging. How about you actually do something about having good customer service, or offering more unique goods and services that people will want? The days of "I'M A SHOP WITH OVERPRICED GOODS, BUY OUR STUFF" is gone. If you're a boutique shop now you better have a damn compelling reason to make people go there.

Completely agree. Remember that article about how stores were charging a $30 "use the change room" fee to make up for people buying online instead? lol. These are surely good tactics to keep your customers.
Another thing that bugs me is most of the stuff you buy nowadays just falls apart, even when you pay top dollar for it. Why would I buy something that will only last a season when I can buy something cheaper online that will last for years?

You will be a big fan of them, they are the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. They are big but you can easily forget you're wearing them. Also they have a really nice soundstage, there have been countless times that you will think someone is talking to you or there is a sound in your room when actually it is coming from the cans.

Also, on place names in this country, some of them are truly terrible. Whilst there are some atrocious names for places, there are the blandest names that if you think about them for just a second, realise that approaching zero effort went into them.

Side note. My body is totally broken. For some reason, I will get to the station and take a leak before I head home, 4 minutes later when i'm on the train I need to go again. It's beyond frustrating. I don't think my brain is talking to my manhood correctly and back the other way. Gotta hold on every night just to make sure I don't make a mess on the train! I can't figure out what's causing it at all.
And It's lunch time. Still no idea what I'm buying. Maybe a meat pie and donuts?! Ack

There sure are. My suburb is named after the fact that it sits between two big hills. Thanks guys, I can see real effort went in there.
It's quite simple really. The PCB in the pic plugs into the mother board, has a couple (you can use splitters and there is a port for another molex/sata adapter), then you just plug the power brick into the female socket from the pcb. I have a backplate coming from the US that goes where the PSU was and has a mount for the female plug. The picoPSU I have supports (and comes with) a 192W adapter. The A6 3650 only has a TDW of 65W but throw in a couple of drives and fans and you are over 100W under load, typically I expect to only be pulling around 50W. I got the bigger adapter so I can upgrade to an A8 at some stage if need be. The A6 should support XBMC, Flash and MAME without any issues though. As I am using the (well close to) quietest CPU fan (Scythe Big Shuriken 2) and case fan (Noctua Noctua NF-S12B ULN 120mm Fan) and plan on undervolting them from standards (around 800rpm for the scythe and 500rpm for the Noctua) and am using no other moving parts I am hoping this will make for the perfect media extender for the bedroom.
I lived there (The Gap, the suburb...) for around 15 years, nice place. Went to high school there as well, which conversely was pretty rough at the time.

When I went there from 89-92 (left before year 12), there was a major drug problem. One of my best friend's dad became principal with a prerogative to clean the place up. During that time we had a number of undercover police pose as students to find out who was dealing. I remember somewhere between 20-30 people being either suspended/expelled/arrested (or a combination). Needless to say my friend wasn't very popular after that.
Funny thing I remember around that time was a comic strip in the Westside News that was titled The Gap HIGH School with a picture of student swapping money for a bag of 'drugs' with another student.
I also remember fearing for my life for half of grade 8, all new kids were called coakroaches and chased around and beaten by the skinheads and punks in year 12. I have many other stories from that school, but GAF probably isn't the place.
Yeah we've got a New Town down here as well. A town not too far from Hobart is called Snug. Comfiest town ever?

That's actually kinda crazy, since the school has such a good reputation now (big music and "leadership" programs, and I think we had 7 OP1's in my grade). I had no idea it was like that. Of course, there are still some people doing drugs at the school, but most of them left before graduation. I'd love to hear some of the stories, haha. I don't know if you ever had Mr McGovern but he taught maths there for 47 years (I think he retired in 09), so its possible!
I just got stopped from my LEGO online barginz, so fashion could easily go the same way.
What would the ACCC be able to do? These are people trying to convince the foreign companies to stop sending stuff to us, just like how LEGO decided to cancel my order and Nintendo cancelled my Club Nintendo subscription. The ACCC has no control over what the foreign companies do, right?
Have you been to a doctor about it? It could be some sort of bladder infection, or even a kidney stone.

x3n, why not just buy a Raspberry Pi or Cubox? Particularly if it's just for a small device to watch media. Probably going to order a Pi myself for expected arrival Aug/Sep.

I power walk from work to the station which is about 20 minutes. I figured that, for some reason, is causing me to need a second bathroom break quickly after the first. I can't imagine it being anything else. I'm not in pain or anything. It's just the sense of, dammit I gotta go piss again, which can usually lead to nothing happening.
I haven't thought about going to the docs. I Figured maybe it was the fruit as well that i'm eating 90 minutes before heading home that's giving me more water than desired.

I think naming suburbs more accurately would be one way to prick the real estate bubble in most of Australia. Maybe using the naming standards traditionally used by Native Americans
