My weekend currently consists of seeing Prometheus on repeat. Pausing only to see Wales destroy the Wallabies. Then back to Prometheus. Unless its a big old bowl of shit.

The gradual change to ipv6 kicked off today so maybe that's why your internet's a bit slow.


Watched some of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee tonight.
It's pretty sweet having a monarch.

You can get the old style keyboard one for like $90 at Safeway brand new. Love it.

Also is the little charger plug locked in properly? Had issues with it at one point too and just had to fiddle with it a bit. Although now the little guy has run off with it somewhere so no Touchpad charging for us at the moment!

I already have an e-reader, the TouchPad. :(

Tried the original charger (with multiple cables), an iPad charger (with multiple cables), a cheap POS charger (with multiple cables) and am now going to leave it plugged into the PC overnight, fingers crossed it'll boot in the morning. Original cable is loose as hell when plugged in.

Yeah basically the only thing that charges it properly is the original charger which sucks. Sounds like the plug has moved off inside the Touchpad so it isn't connecting properly.

Buy a Kindle anyway! eInk is so damn easy on the eyes.

I think its a 2 on my scale earlier. Still trying to make sense of some plot points. Not quite a 1 but not a 3.

Visuals were fucking incredible though.

I can't get over how well Max Payne 3 performs on my PC. They really optimized the hell out of this one. Unbelievable, given how clumsy GTA4 was.

Also, teachers striking today around Victoria. I am pro them being paid more and not being subjected to 'pay for performance' schemes. Which from my understanding of teaching, don't work.
