I will sell you my account for 80bucks. I got almost 3 classes mastered (2 mastered, afew % left on a 3rd), and unlocked most of the stuff on all the other classes. I got all the skins and over 900 gold. A name change is like 300-350 gold. 73% win rate.
I spent 71 bucks on the game.

Really a different beast. Because of the size I can comfortably walk around the house with it. I'm standing in front of the heater posting this and I don't have to cradle the tablet in one hand while typing with the other.How does it feel to use compared to the Touchpad? Looks so small

I think GAF is pretty decent as communities go, but I'd be much more annoyed with it if I hadn't have paid my 10bux for Something Awful.
The discussion it's usually better, but it's also very curated and having one giant Off-Topic and Games area suits me fine for news and quick reactions. Though SA can be plenty terrible at times - their Giant Bomb thread goes in the same terrible loops as the GAF one, just with extra former Whiskey interns. I also think shunting insular communities to the community forum was a fine idea as it means I'm never clicking on anything like the clusterfuck that is the SA Mass Effect thread for anything resembling news over here.
AusGAF is pretty amazingly civil, friendly, well reasoned and accepting compared to most 'dedicated' community topics anywhere.
Probably because the default topic is the common enjoyment of video games and not anything regarding politics or sports.
I ended up buying the Tribes Ascend bundle...played it once and went right back to Super Monday Night Combat. I can't quit you game, even if nobody in Australia plays it anymore.

Well I've been playing a lot of Fallout New Vegas so I thought it was time to think up a gameplan. Just in case. I have a family to protect after all!
There's an RPG called Outbreak: Undead. It's as close as you're going to get to a zombie apocalypse simulator. It was designed as such, whilst still retaining elements of fun. I love their tagline for the game: Your zombie survival plan will fail*

Ooh, that reminds me, I need to download this month's Free Content Friday DLC for that game!

Exactly my stance. GAF is fantastic for finding out news, but I tend to stay away from most discussions.
Ah yes, the victim complex.
Up there with people who throw out the word entitled, or argue for less customer rights in terms of how frustrating it is to deal with them.
I honestly can't imagine how irritating such people would be if my human rights were being interfered with by them though. They dont like being called out for their backwards bigot and discriminatory ways, and if you call them on it then you are "worse than hitler".

RPG designers are even more amazing.
I hear about this awesome game called 'Dungeon World' that had a Kickstarter which finished over a month ago. I sent the designers an email saying I missed out on the KS etc and asked when it will be available to non-backers, I hear it's awesome and would like to check it out.
They emailed me back saying the Kickstarter is all closed up, it's taking up all their time, the book should be out as early as the end of September, nothing concrete of course. But, here's a copy of the pre-release beta PDF and character sheets so you can pick-up and play!

Posting what I did in a thread of video game fans, probably not the best idea. Two cool dudes making an awesome game and giving out copies for free to interested parties can't possibly compare to a company with millions/billions in the bank doing something.

So long as you make sure that you only buy new shoes when you have destroyed/lost/outgrown an old pair.
I am yet to graduate to classy/mature type shoes outside of what I wear to work. Doesn't really go with the casual clothes I own.

Seems that the bigger a company gets, the worse their customer service becomes. Smaller companies that aren't run by morons like Fish are fine though.

My work shoes are so ugly, but amazingly comfortable. Kind of leather meets joggers, with orthopedic spongy bits. Going to work is an embarrassing trek :s
