SydGAF Board Games
Date: Saturday, 7th of July
Starting Time: 10AM to whenever
Venue: Clipper's place, Randwick (details via PM)
Main game/s: Uncharted, Munchkin, Discworld: Ankh Morpork
Organiser: Clipper

Confirmed: Clipper, Jintor, Rahk, Danoss (late scratching due to food poisoning)

Also, for anyone else interested, we've penciled in the 22nd of July as the next date. Choc has confirmed his desire to attend this one. The only thing that will perhaps delay it is if Game of Thrones doesn't arrive in time (although it should).

Fogz has also expressed interest of driving from Dubbo to Sydney to attend simply because Choc will be there. Perhaps we should do a full dinner/drinks meetup as well if this is the case?

I don't think I chose the time, but I just keep it the same as we always had. In any case, if we started it later, everybody would be showing up at lunchtime :p.

Wonder if Danoss is still up from board games via the d20 thing we pitched in to get. I'm thinking about getting the application myself. I do kinda miss rp even if I was most if the reason it broke down.

Got my house warming today. My house mate has friends staying here and the place is a mess. I don't know what time they're leaving. And I just cleaned on thursday and now the place is a sty :( I think I'm going to have like a 1 hour window from when everyone leaves to when it starts and ill need to wash dishes, vacuum, mop, clean toilet, install a lock on the toilet door, and prepare the food for the house warming :(

Board games day is over and was a ton of fun once again. Rahk and I played Uncharted while waiting for Jintor and then we had two games of Discworld:Ankh Morpork (definitely the most popular game so far) with lunch in-between.

Also, Jintor, thank you very much for remembering your 3DS so I could complete my OoT 3D panel in Puzzle Swap!

Now, let's hope the distributor gets their stuff together so that GoT will be ready for the 22nd...

As much as me and clipper had a falling out from that ( or more likely, I went into a secret vicious hate spiral because we didn't explicitly have a proper fallout ), I would probably totally play tabletops again with clipper as dm. He's so much better than I was, even if his virtual tabletop sucked and didn't have near as many dongs as it should have.

If we do ever recreate the fellowship, we should probably allocate an entire 6 hours or more over a lazy weekend to do a campaign, instead of spreading it out 3 hours every week over the span of 3 months. Got a little exhausting.

Also, maybe not play DnD. >_>

A heads up for those considering Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai via the Amazon sale. Steam claims that I own the vanilla campaign and the Dragon War Battle Pack as well. It's only USD$7.50.

Need to stop Clipper from winning all the games next time!
