I have so many (imo) AAA games I haven't even touched yet, yet I still had to be held back during most of the Steam/Amazon Autumn sale.

It's fucking disgraceful.

You know there are so many unknown unknowns with Wii U it's becoming a bit confusing.

It only has HDMI or component output. I'd rather use hdmi but that means no surround sound. And allegedly it has issues displaying wii virtual console titles with correct aspect ratios on some tvs, notoriously bravias. Apparently you just need to have the "full pixel" setting to get around this so I think I'm safe as my set does have it.

I suppose I should also get around to calibrating the tv one day, whatever that entails.

I always use full pixel for everything, so you get the most amount of image possible.

Sometimes you get crap on the edge of the screen, but it's very, very rare.

A Telltale game that is great? I was shocked. Although the Thumbs combo was a good sign it would be good at the least. They dropped the pretence of gameplay, for the much much much better. Focused on what they can do well with the budget and team they have.

SR3 felt super rushed. Way less content and variety than SR2, the pacing was fucking terrible and the difficulty curve was all over the place.

Became good fun after 7 hours of grinding money and XP.

PC version was WAY better than the 360 version too.

This crazy kid is onto something. SR2 had pretty average graphics but everything else was fantastic. On 360 at least.

Yeah, I would say go for Mario 3DLand, best mario game since Mario Galaxy. As for NSMB, I am bored of that game, it's just a rehash of a rehash of a rehash.

Well that's that, no Wii-U for me, even at $348. No games I must have and I still have things like X-com, Dishonored, Planetside 2, Far Cry 3, Mark of the Ninja et al to play. So hurry up Nintendo and bring one of your major 3D franchises to the platform and I will bite.

In prepping for Wii U I finished off both 3D Land and NSMB2. I enjoyed both but I'm at that stage where the invincibility suit is part of the reason I enjoyed both. Challenge be damned.

3D Land more or less requires you to use that headache inducing 3D for some levels. NSMB2 is coin porn.

Will probably go nuts and get NSMB U and Zombie Land and ask the wife to grab ACIII for me as a Christmas gift. So with Nintendo Land and those three games, I'll already have half as many games as I did throughout six years of the Wii.

I'm an early adopter and I have a problem.
however, that doesn't mean i want to hear yours.

You have a PS3 right? Jump on the store and check out all the PSP/PSOne games that are compatible. Means you can play them on your PS3, PSP AND your Vita!

You can buy PSP games on PSN. Not sure if they have Lumines on there yet though.

So... you can play *some* PSP games on Vita, but only the ones that are on PSN?

I'd hazard a guess that due to licensing higgledy-piggledy with the music, it never will be :(

But I think I remember reading about that Vita jailbreak thing that it's basically just for the PSP sandbox of it, so if it is (and it can be done on brand-spankers) I'll 100% get one.

I think the difference between fifa versions is only the roster and the title screen. They are pretty much just cash grabs from EA and not to be confused with the game on consoles/PC. That said, it's free, so that's something.

I haven' played either but from what I've heard the first was like a slight update to FIFA 11 and Vita Fifa 13 was a roster update of FIFA Vita so the second one was actually even more lazy. Apparently they play alright but I guess thats up to whether you liked Fifa 11.

I think the worst part about the Vita Fifa games is EA is asking $80 for the digital version, and from a lot of reports seems to be not too different from the iphone game for a few bucks.
