I feel like if they took the time they could get the 360 version at 1080p if they wanted to... the engine is older than me. But, that's what was said.

It's impossible to get a second source because everyone is, obviously, under NDA. No one wants to get blacklisted by Activision.


And now for my opinion....

Driveclub being delayed I was pretty damn certain on. It wasn't a flimsy rumor like this. But the one thing that I'm noticing here is that the non-responses are the same. I was nervous about the driveclub thing because I was out here by myself with some random ass site I never heard of (kudos to them for being right though) and if the info ended up being wrong I was going to look like a huge asshole. Each non-answer given made me feel better about being right.

If the game is running at 1080p there's no reason to give non-answers. That's not info you want to hide. So looking at it from this angle - the rumor exists and non answers are given - I feel like that gives credence to the rumor.

But... but... but...! I've been right about a lot of shit. I should have never teased this because this rumor is fucking flimsy. More flimsy than PS4 in October which the entire internet believed. I'm not saying it's true. I expect 900p to be honest. That's a guess. I don't know. I do know there is a lot of chatter about the xbox struggling to hit 1080p.

Also, why the fuck not, Titanfall has been rumored to be targeting 720p on the xbox one as well. I'm sure that probably came up in this thread already by someone... but, yeah, that rumor seems more solid than this CoD one.

It's frustrating, but not much I can do about it short of using massive fraud to go out and fund a CSG development project myself. Anybody here do contracting? How do I go about getting myself set up as my own business?

Also, I hate doing up my resume. Y U DO THIS TO ME ENGINEERING INDUSTRY?

Tip- Don't say "I'll have a short holiday." Look for other positions. You're better off trying to get a job while you're still employed or only freshly unemployed. If you don't find work for a while, you have a break when someone offers you a job and says "when can you start?" Then you have a break.

I hear you on the checkpoints in LM2. The addition of copious checkpoints really made GTAV much more fun to play.

In other news, I plunked down a deposit on a new car. I went with AWD, 2.5l automatic Mazda CX5 despite not really getting much off the price. It was just the car I wanted.

Hardest part was talking Toyota guy into coming down from the roof.

So I have a 4 year old LCD Samsung 40" TV. It's been rock solid. On Saturday I noticed the picture went really dark, the lines on objects on the tv were really washed out and the colour made everything look really 80's. I noticed that whenever I turned my tv on the picture would be normal, from anything from 40 minutes after I turn it on, to 10 minutes after, then it would get darker. I fiddled with all the settings and realised there's a fault.

I thought 2 things.

1. Good opportunity to get a new tv
2. I'm proposing to my girlfriend today and might need a cheaper option. I figured repairing it might cost up to $500.

So yesterday I call around a few places. This one guy is willing to come pick it up, repair it for $200 and bring it back. Much relief.

Just means I have to play more PC games next week. I'm picking up Batman tomorrow for PS3, I can still play games on it, the picture just looks a bit funny. Going to be happy to have it fixed though.

Thanks everyone who's let PAX Australia know that a webcomics area would be cool. I think it could be a real hit. There were a couple of comic areas in the main exhibition hall for publishers and retailers - Kings Comics and Madman if I remember correctly - and they were pretty packed every time I stopped by so it's been shown that there's an audience.

Setting yourself up as your own business is pretty easy. All you really need is an ABN number. It was so easy I managed to do it and I'm an idiot. Setting up an actual business is also just a matter of filling in some paperwork if you want to actually, you know, start a business instead of just offering yourself out there for contract work.

Really loving the iPhone 5s so far. Teaching it my finger prints is great and hopefully it'll help the NSA know when and where I am at all times.

I have to say, iCloud is amazing. I turned the phone on for the first time, hooked it up to the wifi, and then iCloud just restored everything from my previous phone so ten minutes later I had everything working as if my phone had just gotten a bit taller and thinner. Even my custom ringtone and background was carried over. (On the negative side it's a bit of a bummer to have a phone for a few hours and it's already bitching at me that it's running out of space!)

Haven't converted her to the ways of the sushi side yet. This is a long term project at best.

Shaun Micallef to be in Danger 5 Season 2! Even better news, there is going to be a Danger 5 Season 2!

Hah, nothing wrong with dives. The Austral crowd got a bit pretentious for a while but they seem to be a better sort these days. Still, the Exie is probably my go to pub in the city. Divey, smelly, filled with hippies. Perfect, lol.

The most fucked up thing is that your points expire after a certain amount of time after adding them to your account.

Considering there is rarely anything that isn't shit you can find in a shitty import store for 35c this defeats the purpose of collecting the points for me.
