Can anyone remember the last time a game was released on a Saturday? Very strange.

not a site....but jdownloader (download manager program) works great.

you just right-click and copy the link and it'll show up automatically in the program.

I'm saying that licences do serve legitimate purposes, though in this specific instance (as it relates to reselling, renting or even lending games) they may be morally repugnant. It's a huge area of law (especially since importing cuts across multiple jurisdictions) and I don't have the time to look into it properly right now, so I'm really just arguing off the cuff.

Every Fedex parcel from Asia comes on a QANTAS commercial jet

DHL use commercial jets as well, generally QANTAs. Only Fedex, UPS and DHL fly from USA to Australia. They don't fly jets between Asia and Australia.

Ah ok. What are they doing with all the parcels at the moment then, with QANTAS grounded? Rerouting them?

I just figured they would use non commercial flights because my ThinkGeek package got to Australia in like 5 days even though QANTAS were on strike. That was from the US though.

Well, looks like I'll be buying Mario Kart locally. Even though I'll have Uncharted 3, Zelda and Mario 3D Land to play. Also have to find a summer job, upgrade my website, finally finish off my iOS game and begin on my new PC game.

Going to be a looong summer.

Yeah FedEx DHL and UPS fly to Australian ports (Syd Mel Bris) once a day

If QANTAS was grounded for longer, fedex would have been f'd. Probably put it on Cathay or Singapore.

but they use QANTAS because QANTAS cargo has Customs Systems built here that allow packages to get through very quickly.

1. Traded in Batman (finished it) and Duke Nukem Forever (rubbish). Verdict: win.
2. Bought Kirby Mass Attack and Vanquish. Verdict: win.
3. Enquired about trade in value for PS3 60GB. $75. Verdict: loss.
4. Joined a criminal cartel of used game traders know as The Carrot Gang. Verdict: under deliberation. Although I cant complain seeing as it works out free with the discounts. So I'll mark it as a win anyway.

Anyone in Perth want to buy a 60GB BC PAL PS3 with a 320GB HDD?

Not exactly true Choc, when I get stuff from Play-Asia it comes via Singapore straight to Perth. But most likely on a Qantas plane.

That seems like an unnecessary detour. Fedexing stuff from Playasia usually comes direct to Syd and takes 2 days. So good!

yeah

it does, on a qantas jet to perth :p

what i mean is, the last hop is generally always QANTAS.

Most cargo companies use them because tehy have specialised custom systems and customs have entrusted Qantas with a lot of stuff.

next time you get a package, before you open it i can guarantee somewhere on the Fedex box it will have a QF number

means it was on a qantas jet :p

Probably not so much these days. It's 2011, and I doubt many people are still looking for a ps3 to play ps2 games.

But still a lot more than 75 bucks though.

Fired up Trine 2, (good God it's pretty) and was having fun and doing well until someone came along and turned the sound up. Immediately everyone came over to see what I was playing and gush about how pretty it looks. And then I died over and over and over again because there was a crowd and the pressure was on. I suck!

Vince I will give you $76 dollars for the PS3!

But seriously, I was more looking for something approaching $200 but I dont know how realistic that is having not checked ebay. A new one starts at $349 or thereabouts.

Oh and who was it that wanted a motion plus dongle?

For the PS3, maybe chuck in a few old games and some fool on ebay would probably buy it for around $300 or more. But yeah, check market prices.

From experience (actually not my experience but the guy who bought my bc ps3), that fix works for 3 weeks lol

No idea. It's a 60GB PAL unit, so if they do then it does.

real-time edit: Yes. It has the SACD logo on the side. Never tested it out though.
