The Abbott story has been revised. He apparently just said they have not received a request to grant Thomson a pair and won't discuss theoretical pairing decisions at this time. If his wife goes into labour at the time they're voting on the carbon tax, that's when Abbott will make his decision.

Music pimping time. The new Thrice album is so good I am ordering it on Vinyl just so I can fondle it in larger form.
They have put out 4 album now that I would consider pure classics that I will play for the rest of my life. 2 from their early career as post-hardcore rockers and 2 from their recent work in a more alt-rock style. I remember hearing See You In The Shadows on countless surf vids we would watch at uni and In Years To Come was one of the first songs we played together as a band jamming in the common room.
Have been thinking about playing this song in some part of my wedding but haven't thought of a way to make everyone listen to my awful singing for 4 minutes without coming across as annoying.
