I am surprised they are giving you such a low interest rage on an unsecured loan! The majority of auto loans are secured loans with a lien on the title (unless something has changed recently that I am not aware of). They just mail you a lien clearance once payment is done.
Is that 29k after taxes and everything? They go for $28.5k brand new for 2017 model.
That's a lot imo. See if he can get negotiate it down.

You need to get an Amazon Prime account and watch Top Gear. A lot of Top Gear. It's an entertaining way to get into cars.
You can also start with James May's Cars of the People. It's an absolutely amazing 6 part series that'll basically take you to day 1 and the historical context is simply phenomenal in that it ties the wars and world history into the mass production of automobiles.
It's probably the best place to start, the more I think about it.

The slimey ass salesman was bragging that he sold a GT350 for $130,000 a few weeks earlier.
That's about a $70,000 dealership markup IIRC. This dealership is pretty disgusting, and I don't plan on ever going back.

This is absolutely the worst thing about modern vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. The disconnect between the gas pedal and the engine makes sporty driving an absolute chore. Is it better for economy? Of course, but when the engine does things I don't want or expect it to do it ruins the driving experience.
Having a car with a cable actuated throttle and no economy measures spoils you big time. Going from my '82 911 to my girlfriend's '13 Jetta with manual is a quick way to insanity.

Welcome to my personal hell when I was buying. It took a while but found one no ADM. Its easier now to find them no mark up than before though. But wow at that mustang sale if true. Someone with too much money and no brain.

This is the same dealership charging a $10,000 markup on an econobox with a jerry-rigged faux AWD system and a shoehorned 4 cylinder mustang engine.
Yeah I've never heard of an auto loan that didn't put a lien on the title. They all work that way from what I understand. Are you sure the other place isn't doing the same thing but somehow has it worded differently?
Every auto loan that I have ever done the bank keeps the title until such time as I have paid off the loan in full or traded the car in (in which case the dealership pays off the note and the bank sends the title to them in your stead).
I drive a 2011 1.4 Giulietta. From what Ive read on the exhaust, it seems to get a lot of positive feedback. The guy who designs these supposedly works on exhausts for exotic cars by day plus they specialise on exhausts for Alfa Romeos(wizard exhausts).
Im probably not going to get anything before the summer but cant go wrong with getting to know your options beforehand.

I noticed one of the axels (or the steel behind the rim) is TOTALLY rusted. Dont notice such rust on any other car
Is that okay?
And the door is strangely unlocked but I guess thats fine as it sits in a gated lot of sold cars

if its just brown, it'll clean up with use, if the surface looks like brown asphalt, it's probably been sat on the lot for years.
To be clear for pretty much any steel rotor, it'll go brown within hours/days of rain or washing unless it's a hot enough day that the water dries up - couple stops later and it'll be fine. - If it's REALLY bad though, take wheel off and take a mild wire brush to it, and get most of it off before you drive, means less rust-dust gets thrown around your calipers.

yeah thats normal, the lighter one will clean up within 5 min of driving, the harsher brown one will clean up with driving too, but personally i'd wire brush it off.
Nothing too out of the ordinary there though.
I'd say judging from those pictures it hasn't been moved for about 4 months or more - there's not a single linear scratch in the rust layer on those fronts, use that to your advantage if you try to buy it - mention that you've been seeing it on the lot fairly often over the past few months and finally stopped by to check it out - seller will realize you know they cant shift it and be more open to flexibility on price.

brake rotors rust incredibly quickly and easily.
Mine rusted "shut" in a couple of days days. A lot of salt and moisture in the winter but yeah, after a day of unuse I get spots.

Okay guys I might want to get an 981 Boxster GTS now.
It's about 7-8k more used but comes with so many goodies the S should have had.
It's way to much bank now as it's still too new and depreciation hasn't really hit it yet. Once the new 718 GTS hits perhaps.

I am married with two kids and currently own a Mazdaspeed 6. Before that I had an E36 BMW M3. Both are four doors, which is basically required for me at this point in my life.
The Mazda is pretty awesome though. Been putting quite a few mods in it lately, including a new Corksport turbo back exhaust last week. It sounds awesome now.
My requirement for cars are: four doors, manual and fun to drive. You would be surprised how hard that can be to find on a budget.
