Were at chp 34 of 40 so I wonder when the anime will get anime original for the plot, as it may not even be needed unless some stuff is skipped in the remaining episodes. I hope a key scene isnt, its so needed.

I am curious....what exactly would you consider to be not "so obvious" CG in a mecha show? In other words, what use of 3DCG is fine in your opinion.

Because Studio Orange is actually one of the best in the anime industry at making the 3D blend in as much as possible, so I wonder what is your point of reference instead.

Not much honestly, which is why I'm pretty much against CG in anime.
CG particle effect usually work and I don't really mind when it's used for a few random cars in the background or other minor stuff like that, but that's about it.
For me it would be much better if the show l was either 100% CG or 100% drawn (or at least close to it)

I have more of a problem with the fight choreography than the quality or obviousness of the CG. The battles are centered around mechas rollerskating around and the frantic action is hard for the eyes to even follow.

I think the choreography is very mixed. Sometimes it can be great. but other times I really can't tell what's going on.

Slam dunk 1-2

Since im a masochist this the fourth long series ive started in the space of a week. Sacrifice game backlog to finish anime backlog.

The MC is like: what if Kuwabara from yuyu hakusho played basketball. I love that his motivation to play is just to impress a girl.

I think slam dunk is the only big sports anime that I havent seen apart from Prince of tennis(too long/too many spin-offs for me). Ace of Diamond(fuck it its not gonna be better than One Outs) and Cross Game.

Annie x Bertholdt Shingeki anime never gave me that impression unless Im forgetting something. But for romance the Shingeki ost has some perfect songs for some key moments.

This episode was super fun. The tournament is starting, Ayato and Julis seem to actually have a strategy thought out and Arlequints autonomous puppets are really entertaining.
Battles were great as well.

Fanservice - the episode, lol. The fight at the end was pretty neat, though. Especially liked how they played around with the aspect ratio during Raikiri and how it made the black bars crumble away. Pretty cool touch.

Still prefer Asterisk of the two.

I should have known better then to be glad things were looking better for our travelling bunch. Fuck you, Morgan (but I can't even really be mad...). I knew something bad would happen sooner or later when they cross paths, but I was not prepared for THAT.
I suppose next episode will be more suffering. But on the flipside, Kazuki and Soushi vs. the Azazel type should be amazing.

Well visual wise that was the best Owari episode so far by a pretty large margin.

I feel like this episode has sown some seeds of distrust about Gaen. Maybe it's her taking a false Oshino name like Ougi. Maybe it's the way she was framed as being in control of everything and larger then everyone.

Aren't "Iron-blooded, Cold-Blooded, and Hot-Blooded" the names of the three Kizu movies?

Episode should have focused more on Lady Lady because Mirei is pretty boring even with her lesbian edge mode form. Yes that is a real thing.

Btw, something I forgot to mention. S2 opening is pretty good. S1's openings were atrocious.

There's already a specific theater screening date and the record shows they never miss those, since the delays always happened whenever the next episode was just vaguely scheduled for the upcoming "spring" or "winter" with no further details given. Haikyuu!! Second Season Episode 9

Theyve done a great job adapting my favorite chapters for Haikyuu!! 3rd Gym interaction and matches was fun and showed great opportunity for learning for the first years (Lev, Hinata, Tsukki). Bokuto's energy is wonderful in setting the mood while Akaashi and Kuroo are great support. I wish it was longer as it was fun, and that TsukkiHina smirk. Also on Tsukki, when he covered his head when someone serves, lol.

Outside of that, the meat dance. Kageyama is amazing.

More or less what I would expect from the start of the tournament episode, lol. The patented Onigiri only lunch was just what I was expecting too. The robots are pretty silly and remind me of Phantasy Star Online but it works I guess.

I think my only problem with the show so far is that we haven't had many extended fights. Kirin vs Ayato is about it so I'm really hoping the next few episodes nets us a good fight or two.

Lewd the episode. The action at the end was nice and I like Toka. I just hope she isn't a doofus or anything. Lightning vs Ice/Water is gonna be interesting.

But did we really need an entire episode around taking off Stella's clothing while she moans? At least she was straightforward with him about getting it on.

The training arc is finally nearing the finish line as out crows have lost lots of games. They're getting better and better with practice and penalties which will hopefully result in some wins. I'm glad Kageyama and Hinata have gotten with their relationship better with more practice. The BBQ scene was hilarious and the image of King Hinata is great. Hope a new arc begins next week.

Fuck Rolo. Even Orange seems to be good(even though I haven't fully bought it yet) and fucking Rolo had to destroy everything. RIP Shirley. I hope his death will be bloody . :'(

I feel Shirley was one of the better characters. Typical role, but as with other characters, she handled that greatly and had quite the development. Quite tragic with all those memory alterations, but her love was real.

The scene between Orihime and Seri was extremely heartwrenching.
Loved how Sui and Seri finally told Suis mother how idiotic her obsession with the second L plan is. The inter-character drama in this show is so freaking excellent.
Canon also found her real power and it's pretty cool... is what I'd say if their weren't those brutal side effects for all of them.

I also love the sky shots, and all the other background shots. But especially the sky shots, I love how it looks in this show.

This is getting so good. Soooo good. I thought that S2 was supposedly bad but I find it a great continue to the first season, and actually I like it more. Unless the ending somehow disappoints me, the series will be excellent.

The scenes at this weird sky chamber were certainly confusing. Charles is really formidable. I expected VV to betray him and be the final villain, but Charles is the real villain here. We also learned of CC's past, despite not knowing her name and her more recent life. Geass' nature is still mostly a mystery though.The final battle seems to getting close. Schneizel, the knights, Charles and fucking Nina are getting ready. Schneizel is the most scary out of them though. I have a feeling he'll do something to take Charles power. I just can't see Charles being just 100% evil as he seems so far. CC's new condition is quite a surprise. I hope she'll return to her old self soon. I also hope Rolo will die soon. This kid seems ready to fuck things up. Again.

Suzaku and Lelouch keep having some of the best moments in the series though. I hope they'll eventually meeting will end with them teaming up. Suzaku is 100% right on hating Lelouch but I think he doesn't see the whole picture. Euphy's death was certainly not Lelouch's fault, despite being ready to kill her anyway...
