Oh, of course he did, lol.
In the current X books:
Jean Grey kills an entire galaxy while possesses by the dark phoenix= ok and forgivable.
Cyclops killing Xavier while possessed = As evil as Magneto at his worst.
Wolverine, known murderer = beacon of everything good in the Marvel universe.
It's why I don't read comics much any longer.
I recommend checking out Magneto's solo series for the events leading up to this...hoping he gets to play with his new toys by the end of Axis.
He now has the ability to endlessly clone the Marauders to serve him instead of being used to hunt mutants. He killed the existing clones except for Scalphunter - who he left alive but cut off most of his arms and legs

Magneto being a victim of the Holocaust is actually less of a problem than he and Xavier being old pals *before* Magneto was de-aged. At least Magneto getting younger has reasons in the book, when you start wondering how the hell Xavier is/was still ticking and looks basically the same, you have to go with "because comics"

I knew skipping that one was a bad idea
as i said before, Xavier''s original body was destroyed ages ago. He's been using clone bodies.
Avoiding this thread like the plague (I'm not yet current on Marvel).....but I do have 1 question; Does the upcoming Uncanny Avengers omnibus lead right into Axis? What should I read before Axis?
I mean, I'll wait for the Axis hardcover (and most likely the Companion hardcover), but I want to make sure I know what's up before the event.
Since when was it okay and forgivable for Jean to do that? As a result of doing that:
-The Shi'ar arranged for her to be executed
-She committed suicide to prevent herself from going nuts when the Shi'ar failed.
-The Shi'ar attempted to murder the Phoenix itself, driving it temporarily insane.
-Jean spent a long, long time building postmortal homes for the souls of those she murdered as penance
-The Shi'ar murdered Jean's entire family (or like, most of it) in the hopes of preventing any Greys from ever having the Phoenix again.
And that's just off the top of my head. It took a long, long time for Jean to be forgiven for that single arc, and that's assuming she actually has been forgiven for it. The whole point of Jean dying at the end of the Dark Phoenix Saga was that the writers felt what she had done was unforgivable.
UA is great for Immortus giving Havok the sex talk.
Wow were they seriously trying to chastise and stop Magneto from a fucking mass murdering Nazi who was putting mutants in concentration camps?!
My suspension of disbelief can only go so far.
Cyclops' group of mutants are the only ones worth a damn I tell ya.

TEAM GOLDBALLS

Seriously though, Cyclops' team is so broken right now he could end the surprise "twist" to Axis #1 in about ten seconds.
As mentioned, the artist threw in the broccoli people. Originally D'Bari would've been uninhabited. It also wasn't a Galaxy, it was a single Solar system. And even with the retcon, Jean Grey personally experienced the deaths of the D'Bari people TWICE (Classic X-Men 43 and X-Men Forever 3)...she also, as her first appearance as the White Phoenix, personally built homes for their souls in the afterlife along with Death (Classic X-Men 43), and as even Death said, she saved the entire universe(M'kraan crystal incident). Jean has atoned.

Clone bodies that can't use their legs or has he been walking?

Hes got a "no uggos" clause in team building. It just so happens that all the human mutants that side with him are pretty good.
Xmen forever wasn't canon though. Basically claremont fan fiction. everything else is spot on though.
Really? Because it originated the whole "Omega level mutant" term in its current usage(to designate mutants with unlimited potential in the use of their powers), starting with Jean and Bobby. I know Claremont did a title of the same name, but I'm talking about the 6 issue limited series written by Fabian Nicieza(sp?)
He was. It's constantly opposite day in the X-books, everyone pretends like Cyclops and Mags aren't always right.

Rogue is going through some shit, she's understandably confused.

Yeah, her behavior makes a lot more sense if you've been reading Uncanny Avengers. That really is required reading to get the most out of Axis
I'm curious what Is his current lineup right now? I know he has Magik, Emma,Colossus with him.
Cyclops, Emma Frost, Magik, Shadowcat, Lockheed, Dazzler, Tempus, Triage, Goldballs Goldballs Goldballs, Benjamin Deeds, Hijack, Stepford Cuckoos, Jean Grey (Past), Beast (Past), Iceman (Past), Angel (Past), X-23
They recently located a mutant who was "beyond Omega level," which is kinda silly given that definition

Fuck Colossus, of the mutant strongmen, he is damn near useless. And that is saying a lot because brick mutants suckkkkk.
goldballs, tempus, the cuckoos, and that healer dude.
yeah, he's always been kinda boring. But the Xmen need at least one, and since they blew up Thunderbird one issue in Colossus gets that spot by default.
goldballs, tempus, the cuckoos, and that healer dude.
This is old news, but remember when Dazzler kept dying and coming back? Did they ever sort that out?

Can't forget Edgy-Dazzler
Rogue really upset at Magneto killing a evil fucking skullfaced nazi?
Really?
Poor LongshotThey haven't even dealt with the fact that she was into black Cyclops.
I don't remember her dying and coming back- a future version where she got elected president (?!) got killed in battle of the atom, and the present one got knocked out by mystique and farmed for MGH for months, but she wasn't dead.
Poor Longshot
It was in the Excalibur run with powered down Juggy and the new Captain Britain. Eons ago in comic time.
you forgot the mimic, the dude who hijacks electronics, kitty pryde, and the O5 Xmen minus young cyclops who is in space right now, and X-23.
i told you I don't read excalibur, bro![]()
Don't forget, when the teenage Jean Grey (who hadn't done any of the dark phoenix BS) showed up in the present timeline because of Beast's fuckery, The Shi'ar flew halfway across the universe to kidnap her, put her on trial, and (presumably) execute her, because fuck you, you blew up a planet in the 80s that's why.
The Shi'ar didn't forget that bit of business at ALL
