My girlfriend has loss a couple family members to cancer so I showed her this and we periodically watched it together when we weren't out and about. I would sometimes peep it on my phone then and she kept asking me what they made it to. The best part is she's not really into video games at all. Thank you AGDQ for doing something charitable through an awesome concept and giving the opportunity for us to bond over a common thread albeit a bit of a sad one. I just wish I could donate money

Super Metroid, you're choosing whether or not to save the animals at the end of the game. Fastest method is to let them die. It is always the biggest donation incentive at GDQs.

A donation war for the Super Metroid run. You can choose to save the animals near the end of the game.

In Super Metroid, at the end of the game, when you're leaving you have a choice of saving the animals or killing them (aka ignoring them and continuing to leave instead). There is a "donation war" where the highest amount donated will be the choice the runners make. So if "Save the Animals" has a higher amount of money donated towards it, the runners will have to stop to save the animals.

Super Metroid. At the end of the game you can choose to save a bunch of animals or let them die. The latter is slightly faster. This is always a big donation war at AGDQ/SGDQ.
