What is the word on backward compatability for the 360? I'm not a person who cares a lot about this, but I would like to know what the official stance is...I feel like MS hasn't really been clear on this, just give us an answer. For example, can I actually play Panzer Dragoon now (it won't play on my Xbox in progressive scan after a live update)

MS is supposed to have a list up on Xbox.com but it hasn't emerged.

Because the 360 will be emulating Xbox 1 games, it won't support much at first.

Microsoft has stated that eventually all Xbox 1 games will be able to emualted on the 360 through online updates to the hard drive.

You have to know these things working at a game store because you are asked every five minutes. lol.

I don't think MS cares about the used Xbox market. It's most likely that they have an extremely low number of compatible titles. It's probably just Halo, Halo 2 and Fable and it's probably not going to be much more than that for quite a while to come.

It's 12 days from the bloody launch. They might as well update us if it was anything half way respectible to avoid this kind of embarrasment. The only reason to keep silent is because the truth is even more embarrasing and MS is afraid it would damage the launch.

Well, what sucks then is I can count on never finishing panzer dragoon orta. I mean, I can play it in non-progressive mode, but after playing it that way I don't think I could go back. I am surprised they never fixed the error on the regular xbox.
