The most amazing thing is that somehow the writers manage to pull that off without creating a cheesy mess like True Blood (which as much as I enjoy, is becoming way too hokey for its own good). This show is my definition of stupid fun. Hot women. Hot naked women. Violence. Little sense. One liners.
So glad it got picked up for a second season.
And next week's promo seems great.
All the ladies on the show want it. Dat Hood stuff.Hood loving body rockin' knockin boots all night long, yeah
Making love until we're tired, till the break of dawn.oh come on
Oh come on and turn the lights down and let me get on it yeah
Cause when I do just me and you, it'll be so right
Needs to GIFed immediately.Job is hilarious. Loved that bit at the beginning of the episode.
Ok, I know that when Rebecca and Kai met up, there were some vague incest vibes, BUT COME ON:
Just scream it from the mountaintops, Yataine! Also, where the hell is our motherfucking Job?
Vague? That's an understatement.
Cinemaxs hit noir-esque drama, which is five episodes into its inaugural season, has promoted current recurring player Anthony Ruivivar to a full-fledged series regular, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Third Watch alum Ruivivar plays Alex Longshadow, the son of of Kinaho Tribe chief Benjamin Longshadow (Russell Means).
Yup, it's a strange bit of news. I guess he's going to become more prominent as the season moves on.Well that's the oddest supporting actor promotion in a long time. The guy has so far been just kind of...there.
I agree completely - no need to run it into the ground and he's been great in shorter sequences so far.I wouldn't mind if they gave Job more screentime but on the other hand...not sure actually. The character by all accounts shouldn't work really, but somehow they pull it off, and I guess giving him more screentime would make him less memorable, in a way.

Wicks
A man from Lucas' past triggers brutal prison memories; Proctor resorts to extortion.
New episode tonight:
He's the first in line to become the new Kinaho chief, which I assume is a position of great power in the town of Banshee, so I assume that at some point this season his father will die/be killed so he can take over. If that's the case then it makes sense that he would get upped to a regular.
Sort of related. I found out an actress I like, Odette Annable, was cast in Banshee for the later part of the season and at least some of season 2.(uh, looks-wise anyway)
She's playing aShould be interesting.Native American assassin.

Only thing bad about this episode was the hobo guy was the lawyer from the wire. I couldn't unsee it. The hair was crazy too.
