Good news.

You know, I actually enjoyed that fight for other than the sheer brutality of it. Usually the main protagonist gets a few punches and walks away with a coold beer and maybe a broken nose, but Hood got trashed and then some. Like, proper fucked. I bet he had one bitch of a morning the day after.

There's a show up on netflix called Outrageous Fortune. Antony Starr is in it. I watched the first ep and I think I'll watch more.

I knew I saw the amish woman before. She's in Fat Kid Rules the World and Geek Charming. I think this is her biggest role.

Show is on the roll. The escape scene was so intense and Proctor is such an awesome villain.

Also..lol...everybody who means anything in Banshee's universe is a trained fighter :D Love it.

Great episode, but protecting a key witness with a single cop all alone in a motel when it's obvious that they'll try and kill him? The show occasionally lapses into the questionable but at least it's propelling the plot forward.

Well, that was a damn good episode. CG was a bit apparent, but everything else was balls to the wall awesome, specially Job. I also liked how Emmett favours Hood's approach to violence. He doesn't seem particularly concerned, does he?

Also, was anybody expecting that dullard cop to turn around and shot the witness in the face? I was kind of surprised he didn't make a heel turn.

I thought he was on that Amish payroll too. This show is more of a comic book come to life than anything else I've seen.

Yeah I expected that as well which is why the whole "one cop to protect super important witness" thing doesn't bother me as much as the above poster? I thought he was in on it. Can't wait till we figure out where exactly he stands.

That was a really fucking fun episode. The entire opening sequence was awe-mazing. I loved when Lucas jumped into the escape car and shot the tires out from the police car, which lead to a pile up that almost took him out with them.

Also,

"Hey cop, the fuck you doin' here?"

"Whatever the fuck I want."

Hellz yeah. I love Lucas' brand of justice. He barely even pretends to be a cop and no one even questions him. I love it.

And Job is moving to Banshee! Yes! *clap clap clap clap*

a fun dumb episode, like usual

I'm continually impressed by the direction and cinematography and the action. Either the crew is super talented, or they put a decent amount of money into this show, or both.

Anthony Starr is gonna fuck every woman on this show isn't he? God bless Skinemax.

the cute officer girl is next, I'm guessing

Pretty good episode. God, Lucas Hood is both the best and worst, most incompetent cop on TV. Everyone just accepts his asskickery. The scene with the lawyer was too funny. And what the fuck's he doing robbing the state museum? There's cameras and witnesses everywhere while he's doing his fucking chase. Kai's such a dick this episode, lol.

So the Nazi-Idiot is dead, right? Unless they force him to recant and leave him alive so as not to make it suspicious.

I bet we get an unrequitted love thing.

But God, I wanna see her naked.

Probably. I don't mind!

I finally got a chance to catch up last night. What a fun episode, and I wholeheartedly agree with those of you calling it a live-action comic book.

What a weirdo:

I guess we'll get a fight between Hood and Procter at some point
We have to get Hood vs bow-tie guy first, right?

By the way, something that I forgot to ask about last week: Am I missing something, or were their weird flashback clips of Hood getting his ass kicked by a huge albino guy interspersed into the fight scene with the MMA guy? Are we supposed to know who that is?

Yeah, we've seen those small flashbacks for a couple of episodes now. I'm just putting 2+2 here, but...
I'm guessing that little Snowflake there was some inmate that had some beef to settle with Hood. Hood got trashed for real and/or got thrown into isolation, and now is suffering from PSTD.

Definitely looking forward to the Hood/Burton fight.

The Albino guy is detailed in the Banshee prologues that are being published on YouTube.

Yeah, it's pretty close to this. The Banshee prologue is a prison shrink talking to Hood about the incident. I think Hood ended up killing the Albino by smashing a bar weight on the guy's head.

Well, that'd be anticlimactic. I was expecting the albino to escape/be released from prison in order to become the new big bad.

been catching up on this show.. i dig it

just watched episode 3 (?) .. that fight with the ufc dude was crazy

shame more people arent watching it

New episode tonight:
The Kindred

A band of marauding bikers crash the annual Banshee Spirit Festival, with deadly consequences, sparking Lucas and Siobahn to mete out some vigilante justice.
I like how the logline treats the vigilante justice as some sort of an anomaly.
