Batman: Arkham Knight - Review Thread

Man, was excited to see my key on my profile page on Nuuvem, and it doesn't work in Steam. It's saying I need to own another product first.

Thinking about buying this. Looks good but I've never played any of the previous batman games. Not even a huge batman fan but still think I'd enjoy it.

Well, if it is anything like the previous 3, it should be a terrific game on its own...really makes you feel like a superhero. You feel overpowered sure, but not invincible. Pretty great feeling taking down a group of 10+ mobs without being touched and having an unbroken chain the whole way through...never gets old.

I like how this conversation is structured around a middle aged man breaking a window with his fists, negotiating a not small man out of a probably small window and throwing them to safety, all while gripping the front of a speeding vehicle.

Bruce is middle aged?

One benefit of PS4 is that you can trade it in if you dont like it (so the importance of that being proportional to your liking of the games/batman)

Greenman has that crazy 40% off code deal though which I dont understand - that must be a significant loss per unit
I bought the game before I saw the 40% code, but it doesn't give me 40% off of the season pass alone, so that sucks.

Whoa, did they change it? I and many others got the season pass for $24 yesterday with that code (EDIT: it might have been a different 40% off code now that I'm looking at it). GMG emailed the key this morning too.

Got both keys from GMG, I thought I'd be able to get down tonight but alas

Was all set to play it tomorrow, went on Reddit, watched the launch trailer, and some ass in the comments spoiled the Arkham Knight's identity. Unbelievable.

I bought it a few days ago from GMG. The game was $35.99 in the VIP section, and the game+season pass was $67 I believe, but now with the 40% code, it's $54.

Edit:

Works for me. Use code: 40OFFB-ATAKVC-GMGRB9

Knocks the season pass down to $24.
You're right. I tried it again, and it works! Thanks. Still got an extra $6 out of me, but I guess that's okay.

Outside of this thread and the OT
IF WE HAD ONE
, I refuse to go on Twitter, Reddit and Facebook's Batman, Arkham or Arkham Knight tags.

We're hours away, if this thing gets spoiled for me, I'm going to flip shit.

Via Kotaku: "Once the credits do march across the screen, Arkham Knight divulges a new, more annoying surprise: If you want to see the full ending, Batman will need to hunt down everyone in the game, take down every watchtower, eliminate every guard station, collect every one of those Riddler trophies you’ve been trying your best to ignore since 2009."

GODDAMNIT. :(

Welp, going to be awesome watching that on Youtube.

Ahahaha, playing through it, ignoring the riddler trophies like any sane person and watch the "real" ending on youtube after that.
