Same with mine, but that's typical. There was zero claps or anything for TFA and Creed! It's a weird theater....
I still don't understand why you'd clap in a cinema.

is so generic-looking, man. Is it a faithful comic adaptation?Doomsday

Because you enjoyed it.I still don't understand why you'd clap in a cinema.

So you clap at your tv, too?Because you enjoyed it.
So you clap at your tv, too?
Our theater was silent most of the showing earlier tonight, and it was a packed house. I swear I'm not lying, there were like 4 or 5 people clapping at the end but they stopped really shortly after when they realized nobody else was joining them.
I'm not American but is this a surprising thing? I've never been at film where people have cheered or clapped during or after. Cinemas are generally silent.
I've heard it's customary to clap and tip the projectionist

do americans clap after getting blown or what?

Jeez, tough crowd. Obviously we know they (film creators) can't hear us, it's just a form of expression. Films are a cultural highlight of the human species. We watch them together with other people, they take thousands of man hours to create, dedicated human beings who act for our entertainment, etc. They're a spectacle for the eyes unique for our species. When one is really well done and brings happiness to people, maybe they like to express that through some joyous clapping...Clapping in a movie theater is dumb. They can't hear you.
I think its even dumber than shouting and yelling at the screen because something happens.Try not to think too hard about it lol.
This movie was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life.

So you're a person who never ever comments on anything in a movie or tv show? No Mystery Science Theater 3000 reactions from you? I applaud your restraint.
In a crowded movie theater? I'm pretty sure that's commonly seen as a dick move.

Me either. I can totally see how this will hopefully get even better when given more breathing room.Working out to the soundtrack of BvS this morning, and man I can't wait to see the extended version of this.
I've been to two. Snakes on a Plane and Inglorious Basterds.
By the way, I feel like I'm going crazy based on the thread responses here regarding this, but the WW theme was kinda shit whenever it played.
More or less I found it hilarious and cheesy. It doesn't help that it was used in strange ways earlier.
No, I remember Doomsday looking much cooler in the comics.
I knew this movie was going to be pure shit when basically every major plot point was spoiled in the fucking trailers... That's always a sure sign that the execs know the movie is pure shit and they're trying to get as many people to the theater as possible before word gets out.
Yes.So this movie is the polar opposite of Batman & Robin? Dumb childish fun and lacking any intelligence vs. a dour and joyless contrived mess lacking any intelligence?

Spoilers dawg
Is noisy cinemas a North American thing, or something? I've seen quite a few people discuss it. Here in the UK people are usually silent while the film is on (except for laughing), and maybe we're stuck up, but I think we'd be mortified if people were whooping and making noise throughout.
Definitely an American thing. UK as well and I've never heard anything other than laughs at jokes. Is noisy cinemas a North American thing, or something? I've seen quite a few people discuss it.
