I don't like the film grain.
One cool detail I only noticed from the ultra HD version: when batman comes up through the floor in the very beginning, he throws a couple red sticky things onto a few of the goons' guns, which I'm assuming are what cause the sparks to fly off them later on in the trailer when we see batman perched up above. Dope.

I've seen 4K before on a 4K screen. I honestly can't tell what would convince me to ditch 1080p and pay money to upgrade to it.

The trailer in Ultra HD means it's in 4K resolution which is referring to it being higher than 1080p. Of course, unless you have a 4K monitor/TV then you're not going to notice the difference.
I don't think thats 4k. That looks upscaled.

Watched Man of Steel again last night (only saw it once at the cinema when it originally came out and didn't really like it).
My biggest hope for Batman vs Superman is that they get some decent action in the movie.
The fight at the end of Man of Steel is a huge letdown. Just because Superman and Zod are superpowered it doesn't mean they don't bleed does it? They are just as powerful as each other so why aren't they fucking each other up???
I understand why they wouldn't bleed if they crashed through a building but if they are punching and kicking each other surely they should start taking visible damage from each other?
When you have have to beings throwing each other through buildings and they don't have a visible stratch on them the action becomes really boring. It has no impact.
Sure the world around them is damaged but I want to see both of them bloodied and bruised as well. Doomsday best deal some damage to these Hero's otherwise it's going to be the same boring, flashy shit with no impact. I want violence and I WANT BLOOD DAMMIT.

I'm not sure if this is entirely accurate but Kryptonian invulnerability can only be beaten by something more powerful than they are. One Kryptonian will have a very tough time making another one bleed. Doomsday possibly. Darkseid definitely.

I definitely understand why they are not taking damage crashing through buildings etc. but Kryptonian's of equal, similar or superior strength should at least do some visible damage to each other.
It doesn't have to be much, just a few scratches, bloody nose etc. It never felt to me like Superman was actually in a fight. He never seemed to be in any trouble or pain (neither did Zod). If the two were damaging each other and causing each other visible pain the final fight would have had a lot more impact. For me it fell completely flat and is my biggest criticism of the film.
I didn't go into Man of Steel expecting much from Snyder but I at least expected the action to be good. Hopefully he doesn't let me down again.

I can't believe people are excited for this movie, Zack Snyder is one of the worst directors working with any sort of serious budget.

If I'm gonna be a nerd about it, the guys with knives should have had yellow marks above their heads.
Go the extra step and the guy who connects with the knife should have broke the combo and the screen gone hazy.
