Even letting that go (which I'm no Slayven so I am not qualified to really argue) Batman v Superman isn't a "whose side are you on" story so the comparison is only ever so slightly apt.

Maybe he'll have a same but different montage showing Batman and Superman in actionThis movie could have some really strong opening segments. Batman's introduction might be fighting those goons from the first trailer and branding that guy in Gotham. Maybe we'll get a surprise B-villain out of that.
Superman has a couple different scenes where he appears to be saving people or getting shit done.

I think the Asgard scenes in the first were really cool and Hemsworth is very likeable.
Maybe a case can be made for JLA vs Avengers being rooted in sides, but even then it wasn't a marketing tool. Civil War marketed/trolled that shit.

I always thought it was a Batman nightmare but if those are indeed Parademons showing up there's no way that makes sense. I'm now thinking it's a vision Wonder Woman has or something similar.

This is a forum where dudes go HAM over video games or anime. You expect them to not take comic book movies so seriously.
The two have always existed side by side. Which one you see depends on which thread you're in.
Let's face it, we have here the same problem like with Xbox and Playstation. Both sides have diehard fans who are unreasonable. There are people who hate one side one way or the other. Do not be one of those. We should value and criticize the movies on what they are and what they give us, not if you like the intellectual property. I am a huge DC fan, I have a full shelf of DC comics and one Marvel comic. But I don't like the way the DC Universe looks right now, while the MCU as a whole highly appealed to me. Not every movie is good, god no, but I am found of the general charme. The feeling that this is truly an adaptation of comic heroes. DC had me with Justice League and Young Justice. But I am just not feeling their motion pictures.
