lol I like Rising Tide, but it's become my least favorite of the album.

I'll try to rank my favorite ones from Battle Born.

I love the reprisal of the Flesh And Bone synths at the end of Battle Born. Really does feel like closure to the album.

I LOVE the small choice to say "you was Battle Born" instead of the grammatically correct "you were Battle Born".

Battle Born was the top selling album in the UK last week with 94,000 copies sold. Third fastest selling album in the UK this year.

No idea how its doing elsewhere though.

I finally got to listen to this on my iPod in the car/gym today. It is really growing on me. Here with Me though... blech. Deadlines and Commitment is pretty great though. That is one of my favorites now.

I think my final Top 5 would be Runaways, Flesh And Bone, A Matter Of Time, Battle Born and Deadlines And Commitments.

With 2 exceptions, I really love the album.

MAB wouldn't make sense unless you changed many of the lyrics. Have her do F&B instead.

Just came back from the mini-concert at Jimmy Kimmel Live! They played 7 songs! AHH SO good! First time i've seen the live and it was free!

I checked this out on Spotify. Sorry everyone but for me it sounds so insipid and middle-of-the-road it makes U2 look like alternative rock.

in 2006, when sams town came out, i fucking loved it.
in 2008, when d + a came out, I FUCKING LOVED IT. (my favorite killers album)
in 2012, battleborn comes out and its WEAK. weak, solo! a couple good tracks.

so no, this doesn't happen every killers album. i haven't been sitting here bitching since day 2.

brandons clearly starting to think that he's a lyrical genius and that his words can carry this band places. not the case.

- The Killers are my "favorite band ever"? That would be Iron Maiden.
- The Killers have "never done wrong" in my eyes? Day And Age was The Killers "doing wrong". Heart Of A Girl is The Killers doing wrong. The Killers do wrong as much as every band does.
- Battle Born is weak? Well, myself and many here would beg to disagree.

Don't make assumptions.

I would be an example that would apply to his post. TK is my favorite band and I don't really dislike any of their records.

I know which one is weaker than the other, but in general I don't think any of them are bad. The Killers are underrated.

i apologize for lambasting you with my assumption. you've just been screaming like a girl in this thread, which led me to make some assumptions. i shouldn't have done that.

i do think battleborn is weak. it starts off VERY STRONG (flesh and bone is one of my all time favorite killers song) but it drops off pretty hard after track 3, and never really comes back.

But the best tracks on the album are arguably tracks 5-7 and track 12 (in addition to the first 3 tracks)

The only lull on the album for me is tracks 9 through 11.

Runaways remix was kinda boring. Basically just the normal song with some extra pop/house stuff on top. At least the F&B remix was structurally different.
