Ultimately, dude is an easy target for whoever he faces now. If he had a future, it is bleek now.

That back to basics card has some really odd matchups. I really wanna see Rone again after BO5, but not against Thesaurus. I would just switch a bunch of those around, but i'll take another Xcel battle.

Rookies vs. Vets argument. Damn, I've never seen URL promote an event like they're doing for Rookies vs. Vets. I guess they have to to sell tickets but this is really giving me an old Smack feel. Arguments in the hallway (TBH it looks like the same one they had the press conference for the first URL event in). At first I thought they were gassing the rivalries a but but this in-studio series is pretty legit. I'm super hyped to see who shows out and who thought they had some shit and falls flat. Seems like people are really split with who they think will win, so I think we'll see some surprises come March 28th.

Also, they've been teasing Tay Roc vs. Surf really heavy on Instagram and have shot something with both of them. If that is really going down on the same card as Clips/Hollow and Hitman is on the card too, holy shit.

I've finally caught up on all the fuckery and AFR interviews with everyone and the one thing I can confirm is that Danny is a fucking idiot. Even Mickey was taken aback by Danny's stupidity when he said he'd push the Rex battle back to battle Mickey. What the fuck is wrong with you, Danny? To make it worse this dude says/justifies shit he's saying that he knows is ignorant and ill-advised with "maybe I'm being ignorant but that's just the way I am." Fuck outta here Danny. Everyone is telling you you're a moron and how to solve shit and you stay on your bullshit.

DETERMINATION OVER TRUST WHAT THAT MEAN DOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT MAN.

My final predictions for Rookies vs. Vets:
Clips 2-1 - Can't see Top not making at least one of the rounds debatable
Brizz/Verb 2-1 either way - This is the hardest one to call and probably the battle of the night
K-Shine 3-0 - Been watching Wavy's stuff again and shit has like zero replay value. Dude also had major dry spots in all of his battles. K-Shine's back is up against the wall and I feel like he's gonna wild out
DNA 2-1 - DNA is the PG killer, after all, but I feel like Chess might just have way too much energy to get body bagged, but I also think he's at the highest risk of choking so who knows
The Saga 3-0 - No explanation required
Prep/JJDD 2-1 - I have no idea how this battle is going to go. I think we might see JJ turn up, but this is really gonna come down to the material more than any other battle on this card IMO. If we get the JJDD that battled T-Top then it's over for Prep.
Real Deal 3-0 - Sno is a choker and Real Dead DA GAWD
This battle is gonna be weird as fuck

Overall, I guess I'm #TeamVets, but I think this card can go either way. I'm so excited for this.

Rookies vs. Vets just started and this was the line. Drect tweeting that it's the biggest line he's seen in the history of battle rap. Man, I know they went all out promoting but I still thought Rookies vs. Vets was a risky move because they couldn't tell if Rookies will sell tickets, but it still sold out. Seems like a lot of Vet love in the building.

I'm looking through stuff, catching up. Yeah, it sounds like Sno got wrecked. The crowd was chanting 3-0? Damn. I saw a somewhat recent Sno battle a little while ago, just to see where he was at, I should've seen this coming. Real Deal is solid. Saga sounds like he is killing Suge now too. Shocker.

For reference, Verb spit a crane bar in his second or third (more than likely third if memory serves correct) round against Danny Myers. *EDIT* He didn't reuse the same bar from the Danny Myers battle but he did repurpose it. Is it legal to repurpose bars in future battles?

I'm talking about a NWS video of Nunu Nellz. Note this comes from twitter via Angryfan and nothing I looked for AT ALL.

Yup I saw that vid....hmm well.....hmm. Thats not a good look.

I saw that battle too and didn't remember that line, I don't think Verb is ever winning me back, thats not a good look either. Brizz had some solid bars, but nothing I thought was crazy. His performance might put him over for me when the battle drops.

From the sound of things, I think all the Rookies did well (making it at least debateable overall) except Sno, who got washed.

Close first round. Prep prob had the biggest reactions, but lost a little momentum at the end.

Real Deal is one of the best battle rappers period, and choosing angles to take.

Crowd loved Real Deal’s Sno impression
Real Deal basically saying how he’s the better white representative on Smack.

Sno was talking about Real Deal being a bad dad, crowd’s booing again.

I don't know what's wrong with the Nunu video.

We're talking about ethics in a street artform where the figurehead hits strip clubs daily trying to find girls to come shake their cellulite on stage for a room full of 1200 sweaty dudes.

That said, Nunu is progressively and retroactively pretty scust.

Rookies vs. Vets sounds like one of the best events in a long time TBH.

How do y'all see this Rex Danny Myers situation panning out? At this point Rex is too scared to battle Danny outside of NYC, in my opinion. I doubt this battle happens and this hurts Rex in the future.

Also, Gladiator School was pretty weak overall. Nitty wasn't great by any means, but watching him clearly get slept on was annoying lol. Rex spazzing like he was spitting something hot....ugh, that crap was trash.

Gladiator School wasn't too bad because the majority of the battles were one rounders. The ladies mostly did their thing.

I think Daylyt vs. Surf was pretty awful. Not just the graphics stuff, but their material. Nitty got slept on so fucking hard, it was kind of hard to watch Mook tell the crowd to cheer and they were silent. Kind of made me tight cause Rex was yelling mediocre shit lol

Young B (RIP) was made to sound like he murdered B Magic. Uh, no. I might edge the third at max, but that might have been Magic's worst performance too.

I really think that's one of Calicoe's best performances TBH, his round is super replayable (and I've been replaying the cam version since it dropped too).

Chilla Jones vs. Math Hoffa yesterday at DF Atlanta was supposedly at BOTY contender. DNA/K-Shine vs. JJDD/Syah was good too apparently.

I'm legit mad I can't hate on Suge, that was his best performance for me. However, I still think Saga got the 2nd and 3rd. Suge got the first. I got Saga winning.

Also, lol Nunu. Too funny.
