I hope that IS the deal lol, I do plan on getting into Multiplayer Mode after the campaign mode as I am still learning the game from basic. But I do want to ask for Multiplayer tips on the forum tho.... To me it's kind of lame how they set it up, that you MUST have PS Plus to be able to post on their forum.

i don't have first hand experience but I think the new copies of PS3 games have codes that are needed to upgrade. so, if your looking at this route, make sure it's a sealed copy or it has an unredeemed code.
You can ask us pretty much anything here and we will answer it, but i think their rule makes sense, its so their forums aren't flooded with people who don't actually own the game.
There are a shit load of trolls on there, but nowhere near the amount there would be.
I meant if you own the game, you should be able to post... BUT they made it that you have to own the game and must have PS Plus to be able to post...
They don't mean it in that way, they mean you have to have played multiplayer before, meaning you also need ps plus.

I'm fine with 75% each for starters. DICE has a habit of overnerfing, afterall.
The real issue is I should be far more afraid of the attack chopper than the scout, and that's just not the case.
It's also weird that the scout gets way more air-to-air missiles than the chopper.

I couldn't even find them. Is there a menu in game where they would be normally? I only checked under the battlepacks tab out of game.
Normally when opening battlepacks it shows everythign you've ever opened under the battlepacks tab.
Strangely last night I could only see my next upcoming (greyed out) battlepack ... no sign of the stuff I'd opened.
I've actually had some wierd buggy things happen too like I'll log on and it doesn't see any of my progress for example (stuff is locked that shouldn't be weapons wise). If I exit out and back in it sees the stuff again. Sometimes after those matches it doesn't grant me any progress xp.

With the repair spec each repairmen gets +30% repair speed. 75% won't really fix the issue. 50% is more in line.
Get hit and the scout pretty much have retreat while repairing with 2 engineers with repair spec.
It's shouldn't be a flying fortress. If it was it'll be called super dooper anti battlefield destroying chopper.
Press options during a game (test range or normal) and you'll see in the lower right hand corner of the screen an option to apply boosts, just scroll over to it and they should all be there.
I believe you can also press the square button in the options menu in game and it will bring up the same thing.
If they aren't there, thats a bug i haven't seen nor heard of before.

I had forgotten about the repair spec. Maybe have it not count towards in-air repair? Have it make engis repeair at the current 100% rate to my nerfed 75%?

If the rates fall to 75% and not have Engineer's repair spec work it might do the job. With one Engineer you won't feel so invincible if so. Two have trouble with 2 stinger spammers currently, but can survive.
I'll agree that'll be a good compromise.

Recently on PC, has anyone else started experiencing occasional graphical glitches, more specifically a specific model will have a stretched out polygon here or there. For instance yesterday it was something on the wrist of the soldiers that was screwed up or an object in the environment is stretched out. It only happens occasional and it's always like one particular object on the map or one specific 3D model, not models go haywire all over the place.
Yeah, I had the "skybox" of Golmund Highway TDM warp upwards to the sky in some form of gameplay hell a few weeks back. Thought my GPU was dying for a while during that round, weird as hell.

I seem to be having some trouble with the Battlelog website, I can't join any games or get on the test range as it keeps telling me I need to update my game.
I'm 100% sure my game is up to date, have checked for updates on Origin and it says my game is up to date, any ideas why Battlelog doesn't seem to think so?

Even when I join 4 bar servers lag is horrible. BF4 on a normal day is like the worst days of BF3 for me.
Played a lot of games with Rock right now, we won every single one but this was one of the most unpleasant evenings I've had playing a BF game.
I've tried everything, my PS4 is already in a DMZ.

Easy fix to the Scout repairs, make it so you can only repair when the chopper is hovering or stationary so you have to go find a quiet spot to repair or risk becoming a sitting duck if you want to stay airborne. The moment your speed goes over a certain limit the repair tool does nothing.

Has anyone mentioned the small but annoying issue that impacts the balance of the 2 types of Fast Attack Crafts? It's an issues with the rear passenger position and repairing. The Chinese DV-15 has a large box easily within reach of an engineer's torch, repairing is as easy as it should be. On the other hand, the American RCB only has a small piece of railing that is accessible with the repair torch and it's ridiculously tricky to get the repair to work even when sparks are flying. We've lost our fast attack craft quite a few times due to the inconsistent repairing on the RCB craft.

Seems an easy way to fix scout repairs is make it so only one of the passengers can do repairs. I don't like the idea of nerfing repairing too much because of the ground vehciles and how hard it can be to try to repair them without getting killed in the process. Also, with how hard it is to get people to work together in the game (at least on ps4 with randoms) it's very rare that you're having people considerate enough to sit on the heli and repair for you. When I'm on a chopper it's usually only me doing repairs, and if we're being attacked by more than one person it's not enough.
I'm still just getting my feet wet with the game really so I don't know that much of what I'm talking about though

I think you can also repair a gun turret if you are facing forward, but there is a dead spot if it's aimed in a certain direction.
You and anybody with a lick of taste aren't the only one.
Best BF2 map, best BF3 map. Best BF4 map.
Amazing how it's been in all these games.=3

Yes, it's usually just a glitch with the current server you're on. Everything still computes in the background appropriately... at least in my experience with the issue.

For those of you who upgraded your PS3 copy of Battlefield 4 to the PS4 version, did it take a long time to finish installing everything? My Campaign was finished right away at 100% but the multiplayer is just stuck at 35% and doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

I like it. Not the best map, but definitely not the worst... Though I guess it depends on how much you like fighting around Bravo, hah. There needs to be another elevator to get to the roof, IMO. It's a bit too easy to lock down at the moment.
