I see lots of jaggies! This is unacceptable!!5120 x 3200 downsample.
Game runs extremely well on my laptop, happy for that. I get to lay around and play multi when I want to be lazy.
That sucks. Played about 4 hours this morning on various servers, not one crash. Pretty good performance overall.
Asus 280X
4670K
Nothing really OC'd.
edit: what Catalyst are you running? I'm not using the beta drivers.
why is the UI so huge in this game
Repi said its a driver bug, the last driver update should fix it.So I just literally fired up the single player campaign and went to change some video settings. When I saved the settings and came back, I was getting some crazy seizure inducing green/red/blue lights flashing all over the environment.
Anybody else getting that? I've noticed its only when I've changed and saved video settings while in game. Otherwise the game seems to be running fine on a mix of high and ultra settings at 1920x1080.
Running on a 4670k, 760GTX, 8 GB RAM.
You can scale it down in the options.

Excellent, I'll see if new drivers fix it. Thanks!
i set mine to 90 off the break just because i knew 70 was nonsense. thanks for the input. i'll keep 90 for a time.
Sweet lord. And I'm getting 74 with V-sync on. I was worried about that 3gig VRAM requirement but it seems my GTX 760 2gig VRAM should be fine. Thanks Repi and DICE? ?
Pardon my ignorance, but which setting is it?
I've got the same graphic card so I'm glad the 2 GB VRAM isn't a problem. I'm going to upgrade to windows 8 tonight, so hopefully that will fix some of my stuttering issues and then next week I'm going to upgrade my RAM from 4 gb to 16 gb and that should hopefully lead to some improvement as well.
Few more screenshots, hope no one minds.
The newest drivers will definitely fix it. I'm assuming this is what you are getting as well The BF4 disco ball!

So hmm quick question about the single player, its the same protagonist from BF3 or is a brand new story with diferent characters.
Good to hear. I have a 680m, and I am completely torn whether to get this for PC or PS4.

How does the ingame downsampling work?
Like if I am currently running @ 1080p how do i make it downsample from 1440p?
Seriously, why in the hell is "War Tapes" not the default sound setting? It absolutely blows away the other options, especially with a binaural headphone setup. I feel bad for anyone who is misled by the naming and leaves it on "HiFi" because they think "War Tapes" is mono or something.

2 options. Traditional downsampling via adding custom resolutions in the nvidia control panel and selecting that resolution in-game (this also scale the HUD down too)
OR
Resolution scale. Just crank up resolution scale until your performance suffers too much.
Even though it's not advertised as such, anyone know if China Rising is free for first run copies of the game(not just preorders) like Karkand was last time?

I'm sure it is, just bought a PC copy and "free China Rising" is printed on the cover.
i've never really played a battlefield game, but i have this preordered for ps4. i have always enjoyed shooting games but got sick of call of duty. i'm getting killzone though.
is battlefield premium a good idea? if i order it today on psn, i get $10 back with the psn promotion going on. how much are expansions outside of the premium membership? is it only worth it if i intend on playing the shit out of this game? i imagine i'll play with friends for a while, but not like 1000s of hours.
