Yup, I can't go back to KZ now. Plus, I hate night maps. Why make night maps? You can't see shit.
I played a complete rotation of Conquest Large (Zavod to Zavod) without a single freeze or disconnect. I had major rubber banding on Paracel otherwise it was pretty darn smooth. I was just playing solo but I had a blast. My team won almost every game [correction, we did win every game] 
That's good to read. I'll take the plunge. My only other concern is if I get the standard edition, how much will I be screwing myself out of, or is there digital upgrade options if I decide to go that route later?
I hate to do a blind commitment, then a week later realize meh this isn't for me.
Granted I played a ton of BF3 on my PC.
I'm not sure I'm answering what you're asking, but yes, if you buy the regular physical or digital $60 copy, you can just upgrade to Premium from your console whenever you want, for $50.
The game has been running well enough for me that I did it yesterday. Kind of felt a little guilty doing it, but shit, I'm loving this game, and I've never bought Premium for anything before, so I'm treating myself.

Every time I want to start a conquest match on operation locker the game leaves the loading screen, I hear some sounds and then I'm stuck. Just a black screen with the loading signal and it doesn nothing for minutes. Happens with other maps occasionally but everyttime on operation locker.
I shied away from deleting and redowloading the game because it's so freaking huge. So is this a common problem or should I reinstall it?

Can DICE patch BF4 so the frame rate is more stable? Siege, Hainan, and Lancang are the big fps droppers for me. Coincidentally, they also have the most lag and rubber banding.

at least i got someone who isn't from india responding back.
this was my THIRD attempt at chat support by the way. the first 2 times i got indians responding back. one told me to just rebuy premium on PS4 and another told me to just wait until it automagically upgrades itself to premium when it becomes available..

I have drops on the same maps.
The levolution on siege is a nightmare. However i get fewer drops on lancang than the other two.
I think PS4 since this thread is PS4 specific, and I am also getting poor frame rates on those maps on levolution moments, otherwise, it's fine for me.
Yup, you can DL it, though the maps are not that great imo.

It's just odd to see those frame drops when every gaming outlet told us it's constant 60fps.

I get issues when nothing is happening. It seems to be server related as all of my friends get it at the same time when we play together. Levolution isn't a prerequisite to random drops.
I'm also saying it drops to the 20s and probably below for a second and a half then boom, back to normal. Happened last night on Langcan Dam, game just started, me and 2 friends squadded up and were driving to the first base in rush, bam, hit like a freight train. All 3 of us noticed. Something wacky going on server side.
I've played through the campaign several times (yes) with no issues. Most recently yesterday, and even if it crashes these days it shouldn't corrupt your save as the game no longer tries to save progress during crashes (it did previously).

yeah save games should not corrupt anymore, still crashes though and has a lot of glitches if you go looking for Collectables in places the game does not want you going to. A lot of clipping through terrain issues.
I've seen it get down into the single digits when the levolution stuff happens. And on maps like Locker when there's just a giant group of people chucking grenades at each other in the middle.

I just completed the SP, Not exactly memorable, The MP is great but the lag ruins it bigtime, Doesnt always lag but lately it seems to be more prominant.

Am finally going to get time with my PS4 again so just thought I'd check - can I play through SP yet without worrying about losing my save?
I mainly get it on Hainan Resort. Almost unplayable for me.

I just got my PS4 and BF4 yesterday. Played through the first level last night on Hard, had a blast. Went to continue today and was prompted to start a new campaign. No progress saved.

Just beat the single player yesterday. I only did it onelevel at a time so there were a lot of opportunitiesto lose a save but it worked out for me.
You gotta be kidding me... Haven't played the game for a few weeks and I thought they must have fixed the campaign already. But nope... How is this even possible? And no, I didn't buy BF4 for the campaign, but this is unacceptable. I think I'm going to sell my copy... And btw, I suck at the mp. The last time I played, the hit detection felt broken too. KZ SF is better, IMO. The first and the last time I'll buy a BF title.

So you bought BF4 and Premium for your PS4 with your US account, and play it with your German account?
Does your German account show up as being a premium account in Battlelog as well (in terms of all the other premium stuff like premium assignments, drops, double xp events etc), or is it just access to the DLC maps that you get on your German account?

I played and replayed the single player to get the plat over the past week with no problem. Had one crash but nothing was corrupted.

Thanks for the replies about singleplayer guys. I'll probably give it a go again then, though if I have to play through that first mission again after what will be the 5th or 6th time, my lawd...
Not sure if its bf4's fault or the share buttons, but I just did this amazing 5-6 knife kill streak and wanted to upload the footage. First time really using the share button, I assumed it recorded my last 15 minutes :/ instaed I had about 2 15 minute footage of the matches before the current match.
This is happening for many people, and for some not just in BF4. It's happened in bf4, need for speed, and black flag for me. Don't have the link handy but there's a thread about it and Shuhei is aware of it.
