We're getting pretty deep now... seems like every time I turn on my PS3 to play something else, I have to switch to BC2 since there are a bunch of people on. We have people who play during the day a lot, and many of us play late night.

i tried mixing them when i bought the game day 1 on both consoles. the VIP codes were console specific.

what was funny to me was the GameStop code for the AKS74u early unlock not only wasn't console specific, but using it unlocked it on both platforms. i gave the 2nd AKS74u code away to a friend who didn't buy from GameStop.

I've only been playing this for 2 days, but it's great fun.

It's very polarizing though. Some games are amazing, 'fuck yeah', while others are infuriating (a team full of recon, or a noob killing us all while trying to pilot a chopper).

I'm sure playing with randoms isn't entirely indicative of fun to be had.

Perhaps i'll join some gaffers once I get some decent chops.

Played a couple good games with Calion, he killed atleast 20 people as a gunner in a blackhawk, it sounded like we were in a casino the way he was mowing people down. Sorry about the Apache crash, I completely forgot about the antenna tower over A. :lol

Forgot to add, I've been using the smoke perk and V. electronics perk on my tanks lately and I love it, especially the smoke. I used to do it alot in BC1, fire from inside the cloud of smoke and just confuse people. Im noticing that I stay alive even longer with smoke as opposed to armor, since you can't get a tracer lock on.

Smoke > All other tank perks.

Yeah... I've been using the shit out of tank smoke lately. It's a great tool. Take a few shots, pop smoke... it's great at masking the direction you're moving, allowing engineers to repair w/o getting picked off, and for changing direction.

After using it to juke the AT turret on harvest day a few times... I popped the smoke and then came barreling straight through it (guy on the AT must have shit his pants) and he fired off to the left thinking I was turning. I ran him over. :lol

Then reversed back into the cloud.

That's right bitch... this tank is being piloted by the batman.

Only me and 2 other guys online. We tested maps and what i noticed:

- Assault rifles are weakish. ppsh is only 25clip :/
- m60 is beast yet again.
- Flametower is kinda weak. Cant see shit when someone is flaming you point-blank but vs semi-medium distance its useless.
- I tried helo but for some reason it didnt play music

Damnit if BF3 doesn't have a saved film mode someone should be fired, should've been in BC2 even. Had some epic gameplay moments last night playing on Oasis. This game is easily MP GoTY, despite it pissing me off with not saved films.

Yup and they said that its the server the one who records the match.

Hope they can pull it off for BF3 (100% sure the PC version will have it)

Let´s see:

Just played some frustrating games, it felt like 3 vs 11. On laguna presa It was rock, evolved and I, our teammates might as well not have existed, it was basically the 3 of us doing all the work. I have no idea what the rest of the people on our team were doing.

Yeah, very frustating: arming again and again for nothing. It puzzles me that people don´t understand Rush mode, you have to rush the defenders. You win simply by piling more attackers than defenders around the MComs.
My 0.02€ about long range snipers squads: you are a drag on the team unless you countersnipe the opposing team snipers, spot everything that moves and deliver a continous barrage of mortar fire after a MCom is armed. On the other side assault recons opening a path with sensor balls are very useful in a squad.

Gaf vs Gaf:
I´m in. If possible I´d like to squad with Fersis and Olimpia so we can swear at others Gaffers in Spanish :lol Feel free to join us and practice your Spanish!!

Hey now!!, I was a lurker when browsing GAF years before registering. Even after that I just post with moderation (read nothing), this thread is more than 90% my posting career at GAF. Now seriously, forum posting used to be a huge timesink for me so I don´t post much now.

Oh, I just got platinum with the M1. Terrific rifle, I´ll miss shooting people with it and that Saiga shotgun is looking very nice....

I sent some hate mail to them -- one in particular -- when they wouldn't come in off the island. Then I counter-sniped the guy with my REX.

After a few colorful messages they suddenly put up a decent attack and (omg what a concept) almost took that crate. Came down to the wire. Last few mins were pretty fun. Too bad we had to waste 30 mins on bullshit before they took any initiative.

That one guy never switched from recon though... never stepped foot off their spawn island. I sent him a message at the end: you guys almost pulled that out, maybe if you would've helped them!
