No, but I think that since this game has been out for a day, and multiple people already played through it, if I do not want to spoil myself, I am not going to read its OT. I have done this since years, (never even going into the OT if I was afraid of spoilers), dunno what changed. Or how it worked before :O

Well GAF/Nintendo I did my part.

That makes four (i guess five) wiiu games i have now:

Bayonetta 1+2
Mario Kart 8
WWHD
DKC:TF

still wanna get zelda, open world mario (when announced), and xenoblade and captain toad.

I need to know ASAP. This will determine whether I leave right now to buy it.
Though I'll end up buying it regardless in 2 weeks.

Just finished Chapter 4. Love it so far.

Does anyone know how to do the moves signified with like a butterfly symbol and then punch or kick? It's a yellow symbol, I think.

GAF what have I done, I showed the game to my 3 yr old nephew and now he doesn't want to give me the controller (he just keeps playing at the tutorial screen btw) :(

Picked up my copy! Now to...barely play it this weekend :(. This is seriously one of the few games I probably would have broke my bank account just to support. I appreciate the fact that this exists.

Australians: did both your games come with CN codes or just one? I've seen European unboxings where they both have a code, mine had just one in Bayo 2 and nothing else in the Bayo 1 case.

It means jump, press punch/kick immediately after.

Have they gimped the whole "exit to main menu to repeat verse"? I was trying to get a Pure Platinum on chapter III but doing this got me a gold medal in time, which definitely shouldn't have been the case.

This game has been fantastic. The music is outstanding, the action relentless, the characters all have great personalities and the vistas are breathtaking.

Best game like this since God of War 3, and the intro was just brilliant.

Well played, Amazon Prime -- got a physical copy delivered and picked it up before the front office closed today. I may actually get to play tonight! :D

Also I would respectfully second the requests to please not post screenshots of game areas that might be a surprise to some of us. People like me may be playing the first game before the second, so it will take us even longer to catch up and see those areas.

Got mine from local Gamestop. Sadly it was the only preordered, the only one in stock and they even exposed it in the shelf!

Surely a lot of people bought it online but this is anyway embarassing

My GameStop ordered thirty copies, and by the time I picked mine up they were completely sold out of the game, and I managed to pick up the last guide.

Went to go play Bayonetta 2 but I ended up just putting in the Bayonetta 1 disc and played that for a while. The game is still so good, I kinda want to save Bayo2 for later.

If you are only playing the first might be a good idea to stick to that OT till you've finished it if you are wanting to avoid spoilers. Not that I don't agree with the sentiment though.

I was talking about the screenshot someone posted from a new (to me) area in Bayonetta 2, but that's also a good point, thanks.

So played through the first 2 chapters of Bayonetta 1 for the first time. How the hell did i miss this game last gen? First impressions are that its over the top cheesy action porn, which is like combining all of the best ingredients to any game or film.

I suck at it though, need to learn how to string combos together and dodge.

I got my copy from Best Buy... but it doesn't look like it's going to be a big seller here which makes me sad. I couldn't find the game in the display case so I asked someone about it, they said "it was only out in Europe."... so I said no, it's out today. You have signs on the floor that even say "out now."

They had a box full of the game stuck in their back room and I had to nag them to even get it out... But either way, I have it now. Played a bunch of Bayo 1 before my body gave out and I had to sleep. I'll have to play more later.

Mine didn't come in mail so won't be til Monday than I have to play through 1 first so bayo 2 is a ways off for me...

Any who played it. Does it live up to this crazy hype train that spawned from the reviews?

Super 64-2 yet? It comes with Foxs costume but I have absolutely zero idea how to equip it

Haven't read through the thread cause I'm wary of spoilers but I have a question. Is there any compelling reason to use the gamepad or can I use the pro controller fine?

That list is missing The Wonderful 101 for some reason. You should fix that.
