learn japanese. but for you to be able to read all that hiragana... you'll be able to play it come 2010.

Hiragana and katakana can take you 3 weeks. Kanji on the other hand....(checks calendar)
But with the higher resolutions and the more extensive use of kanji in menus, just learning hiragana/katakana for imports isn't as useful as it used to be.

I'm mostly kidding. I've blundered my way through 4 Super Robot Wars games without knowing a lick of japanese, but this is going to be the game that finally motivated me to mod my PS2.

Alot of japanese games can be played with trial and error... most of them will feature some amount of english characters in order to get you started, and you can memorize the positions of relevant information...

although you might not be able to get as much out of it as you'd like, with more complex specials and other abilities been inaccessible due to lack of language...

and of course there's the lack of understanding story.

Wish those games would come out in english... or at least get patched by fans... somehow.

I think the biggest problem with it being released here at this point is NAMCO Hometeks lack of interest in 2D RPG's in the US. As long as Capcom can also publish it here, then it should make it over.
