I think this opens up a complicated and extensive discussion on parenting, nuture vs nature, sexual liberation, the current "gig" economy, the hypocrisy of porn consumers, and the internet as a whole.
The truth of it is that there is no easy answer that will satisfy everyone about how/why some girls choose this profession.
I will say that at least the absolute biggest positive I've seen from these solo acts on something like OnlyFans is that at least girls don't have to deal with the drug culture and skeevy porn producers anymore while limiting themselves to exactly how far they want to go. Maybe that's some small comfort to parents?
A relatively popular ASMR Youtuber joined Only Fans a while back and did a bit of an explanation as to why she did it.
I mean principally everything came down to her needing the money (and apparently she's making a lot), and obviously, it's a post-rationalisation of sorts, but that whole aspect of ownership in terms of it her being the one who calls the shots versus a third party I thought was an interesting one.
I can respect the hustle in that sense,. but at the same time the stigma is never going to go away (because the internet remembers everything) and if not for yourself, think of the hell you might put your kids through if when they're growing their peers find out that their mum gargled dicks for dollars for a living. I know it's a bit cliche to go to the pearl-clutching 'Think of the Children' but to quote Gladiator 'What we do in life echoes in Eternity' and never more so now with everything a google search away. Couple that with anyone taking you seriously from an employment perspective once your money maker days as gone.
Your best hope as a porn actress is either that you blow up big like say Angela White and likely make a shit tonne of money whilst you can (and the vast majority don't), or you're lucky enough to snag yourself a Rich Simp (which again I suspect most don't).
I'm still waiting on Jessica Nigri to finally show off the full goods.
