You should learn to be patient in all matters Berserk. Very patient.Do InStockTrades email you to tell you they've shipped your stuff?
It's been just over a week since I ordered my volumes and I don't think they've even shipped them to me yet. The wait is starting to kill me. I know it's going to take a little longer than usual since I'm in Australia, but I thought they would have atleast shipped them to me by now. Meh, I might just go ahead and order the next set of volumes within the next few days if it's going to take this long to get my stuff.

I hate him already. For those interested in Berserk, you really need to check out Shin Angyo Onshi. It's more or less the South-Korean counterpart. Fantastic art and the villain is a mix between Griffith and Bleach's Aizen. Oh, and it's finished.

Not really. It has a one-eyed swordman and it's a revenge story, but that's kinda it.I've heard that Blade of The Immortal is also somewhat similar?

Yes, it is very good. Just different. Is it good though?
Is it good though?
Horribly. Leagues worse than the Berserk movies (to get slightly more on topic )I really like the first half of it then the story took a dive IMO, but the battles are very good and very well drawn.
Never saw the anime version of it, so I don't know how well adapted the Manga was.
Is it good though?
You can check your order history for shipping status.
Had to substitute volume 1 with volume 9 as it was on backorder. Probably works out better that way as I've heard the latter is usually out of stock from most places.
Like FCMaxi said, you can check under Your Account -> Order History -> Order ID #
- Shipped
- Picked and Scanned
- Not Picked and Scanned
In the U.S., if it has been shipped there's also a tracking ID number. I'm not sure how that works for international shipments, though.

Only Avatar comes to mind in terms of equal awfulness. It's hard to understand how bad it is. It takes a special kind of talent to make such a bad adaptation of a very fun property.
On the topic of recommendations, I've got Vagabond (3 volumes in 1) coming in the mail with my Berserk manga after hearing good things.
I'd love to hear what some of you guys think about Vagabond. As someone completely new to the world of manga - have I chosen wisely?!
That sounds very harsh to Avatar.Only Avatar comes to mind in terms of equal awfulness.
Vagabond looks really neat, but will it ever finish?
I'm talking about M Night's Avatar. That's most certainly down there. That sounds very harsh to Avatar.

You should give it a shot. It's one of the best examples of western animation there is.I dont know if its a fair comparison because i never saw the show.
Oh...and am I blind or do they not tell you when something is out of stock/back-ordered? I got volume 1 from eBay, so that's no problem, but volume 9 is the next one I need - so I'm glad I found out it's out of stock now before I ordered it in the next batch. I had a look on eBay before and I was surprised to see a few volume 9's for a pretty decent price (it's only about $6 Australian Dollars more than InStockTrades has it for since the postage is free on eBay).

I'm interested in Vagabond but it's yet another manga I want to read that's been going on forever and isn't finished
Anyone know if Blade of the Immortal is any good? It's another one I I'm interested in and it's actually finished.

I'm on book 19 right now, been enjoying this whole Farnese and Father Mozgus arc a lot. I enjoyed the origin story a lot, but I do think it gets better after the part where the anime left off.
By the end of this arc you'll be asking what happened.
well, i'm not gonna ask exactly what that means...no hints plz
what book does the arc end in? I have up to 21, but I might have to put in an order sooner rather than later.
Wolfsmund is kind of interesting and takes place in a similar medieval setting.A question for you Berserk fans, is there in any other medium (except for Game of Thrones) something as dark as the?Eclipse
That's where it ends. And where the series starts to go downhill.
