Best credits in a game?

I was going to post Mario 64 even before my mind was blown about the camera. That music is so gratifying.
Runner ups are Portal and Mario World.

Whenever you beat a game, seeing the credits roll after you beat the final boss or race or whatever just leaves you with pure satisfaction. But which game has the best credits to offer once you beat the game? Is it in terms of music? Interactivity? Imagery? Or is it something so ridiculous that just makes you want to throw your hands up and laugh?

The ones that come to mind for me would be SSBB's subspace emissary credits which was a mix of all the themes from all SSB games and of course the laser-shooting credits from Melee.

One and done.

I hate credits sequences. I feel like a right tit saying this, but I don't much feel the need to "soak up the atmosphere" after any game, and I always skip them if possible. I loathe super-long credits, at times they can be extremely wearisome. Rayman Origins' credits are a thousand hours long. Arkham City's credits last far beyond the atmosphere has given way to "please end now". Yet with films, I will almost always sit through them.

Mass Effect and Killzone 2's were pretty epic.

I can't watch and listen to Metal Gear Solid 3's ending without tearing up. :(

Same with Final Fantasy VI's, albeit for different reasons.

SSBM's deserves a special mention for sure. Goddamn, Sakurai used to be so godlike.

Shadow of the Colossus takes the cake. Simply breathtaking. HUGE spoilers, obviously.

I also have a thing for credits that feature all of the game's enemies with proper names, so Super Mario World and the original Donkey Kong Country stick out to me in this regard.

The best generic credits scroll (text on a black screen), however, is probably Red Dead Redemption. The music choice was perfect, and it just left you reflecting on everything that had transpired over the course of that wonderful game.

Streets of Rage 2

Dat montage music... (7m10s mark for mobile folks)

Something about this ending just always gives me that "fuck yeah, we accomplished something amazing" feeling...and the game has next to no story development to earn that :lol

Skyward Sword for sure. It actually showed the game story from another persons perspective.
And the music... Dear god the music!!!

Shame that the PAL version was laggy as hell. NoE, why did you have to do that to us after doing so well recently?

I like the credits from Super Mario World. The tune is catchy, but holding up, right and Y makes Mario do a silly dance all the way through.

I really like how To The Moon's ending blended with the credits' theme (spoiler alert, obviously): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74GoVzAkr1E#t=38m50s

Better yet (bad ending theme): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5v2ocf5anE

Modern Warfare 2 credits roll was really good.

First track is really gud.

I liked Journeys

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8ib-txvQbw&sns=em

It really completed the whole circle of life metaphor that i felt the game aimed for, you see one of the comets flying through the air - the same comets you see occasionally through th game and it lands back where you started the game and then the "new game" symbol pops up and you realise that was your character restarting their journey.
Loved both, but Journey's gets me every time.

Shadow of the Colossus takes the cake. Simply breathtaking. HUGE spoilers, obviously.
And this right here is my favourite.

The one's I like to sit through the most are MGS credits, the final conversation bits at the end after the credits never disappoint.
