Bethesda: Deep Dive Gameplay for Both Starfield & Redfall coming soon

With all the Bad Bethesda news lately
I like to share a good news that people glance over

I think most people already made that assumption when Xbox announced its own showcase.

High hopes for starfield and redfall. Hopefully Redfall leans more into the single player side than multiplayer aspect.

In all honesty, I don't really see the point in having a deep dive in June when the games could be up to a year away and I wouldn't be shocked to see Starfield be Microsoft's Holiday 2023 title ala Halo Infinite going from November 2020 to December 2021.

But whatever, Jaffe is right. Microsoft has management and leadership issues, plain and simple. How many times does anyone have to keep seeing fuck up after fuck up before realizing holy shit!!! we have a fucking problem? UGH.

So disappointing. But whatever. It is what it is.

You would think they wouldve released that deep dive before announcing the delay to soften the blow, but what do I know about marketing.

Yep, gameplay footage in June 12. You heard it here first. And thanks to Anthem it's unlikely they'll raise expectations higher than need be. And thanks to Halo 6 they won't pull a Craig. It will be the perfect balance.

My bet is they didn't talk in-house about the delay with the marketing and those who prepare the gameplay presentation.

I don't consider delaying a game as having management and leadership issues. If that's so, then naughty dog and Sony, and the rest of this industry as a whole have both of those issues, right?

So first when it was expected to drop later this year people whined non-stop about why aren't they seeing any gameplay. And now that it's been pushed further away and they've made clear we are going to get a deep dive look at gameplay for both games, now those same people are now saying they don't see the point of showing gameplay? I literally said something like this would occur as we approached closer to gameplay, too.

I never whined about not seeing gameplay. I was always expecting June for gameplay. 10 minutes or less for Redfall and delayed to 2023. 20-30 minutes for Starfield and releases 11/11/22.

They can show gameplay in June but I don't need a deep dive anymore until the game is closer to actually being released. Also, I want them to have a good showing. If the trailers aren't polished then I definitely don't want to see either and if they are, just give me 5 minutes or so. Just give me the general idea of what the game will be and that's it. I don't need to know all this other info that im going to forget anyway since it's further out than originally expected. All my interest and focus will be on the games that actually release this Fall.

Honestly would rather wait until closer to release; I'm excited to see the deep dive.. not excited for how it will likely raise my hype levels and make me impatient for a game to release I have no known release date for.

They want it the other way, get the delay news out a month in advance so their showcase isn't overshadowed by the negativity of the delay announcement after it.

Releasing on time>Gameplay footage
Delayed happens it has been happening since the start of 2020
Starfield is not the first and won't be the last almost everything is getting delayed
don't single out a game on this no one likes delay but it happen
it even happen to the game your using as your avatar lol

When was GOW supposed to release?

Why does that matter, you said :

No it's not good news if the game isn't releasing anytime soon.

Big games often have their game play showcases year(s) before release.

It's good news for people who've been looking forward to seeing Starfield game play.

The game was supposed to release this year.
GOW wasn't supposed to release the year they showed it.

That's not the point.

Tons of games have game play showcases years before release.

You don't really have a leg to stand on here with the feigned concern, but I guess gotta get the jabs in while the news is hot.

People like to brush over this fact - Phil Spencer was the Head of 1st party during the Don Mattrick era. I'm not seeing how or why people expect things to change when it's still the same person in charge. He still has a lot to prove in that regard.

Trust and believe they are only going to show the very best side of Starfield and Redfall in these deep dives.

Wtf you mean by feigned concern?
Showing gameplay AFTER announcing a delay is a smack in the face.
