Broadcast news outlets are reporting that Former President Bill Clinton, 58, has been rushed to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.

CNN said that a former senior clinton administration official said that Clinton went to the hospital reporting that he was tired and had chest discomfort, but then he was told he needed bypass surgery. CNN reported that he will have surgery soon, but not today.

ABC News reported that Clinton is going to have quadruple bypass surgery.

Former press secretary George Stephanopoulous told ABC News that the former president had been treated for acid reflux disease while he was in the White House. However, he said there was never any indication that Clinton might have had a heart condition.

"He consistently did get good, solid physicals when he was in the White House," Stephanopoulous said. "In recent years since he's left the White House, he's been terrific shape, on the South Beach diet and in very good physical health, apparently."

Its not a heart attack, he had some tests done, the results were bad and he went in for surgery.

Just came out of Special Event report....

He did complain regarding some chest pain, and it could be Quadriple Bypass.

However, Columbia Medical Center is one very good hospital for Cardiac surgery and according to American Heart Association, the success rate is near 98% and fatality rate is very low in bypass surgery. Many are saying within 8 weeks, he will be back in almost normal status.
And as far as I know, the surgery is due tomorrow.
Bush also says in Wisconsin, "wish for speedy recovery".

End of the news.

Damn.... Between RNC and Frances, this had to happen?
This week's been a terrible disaster for me... While I did get my new TV, I haven't really seen it (because I'm almost working nearly 14 hrs a day)
