Wait wait wait wait, so am I reading this thread correctly? PC users are complaining that they cant use an Xbox controller and they must use a keyboard and mouse?
What is this? Backwards world?
Some of us enjoy gaming on the couch in single player games as hard as that may be to believe.
I got not problems playing with the mouse and keyboard so long as the control isn't jacked like in the first game (the mouse movement/speed/acceleration were all kinds of jacked up at high DPI settings). Sure I can set up my on-the-fly switches to go down to 1000 for the mini-games, and back up to 4000 for the aiming. But it's really quite bothersome because the way it moved was just...off.
So playing Bioshock with the gamepad was comfortable, and I could do it on the TV.
I am disappointed that these games that show up on consoles, where the work is obviously done already, don't have support for MS's official controller on Windows. Why buy the controller at all?
Only played for 20 minutes before work and can't wait to get home. But I did look forward to perhaps playing on the couch some time. Using a computer nearly all day at work, and going home...sometimes I don't want to continue to sit in the same position doing similar motions to work.
As mentioned previously, the same problems with the movement are back again. Disappointing. Compared to every other shooter i play, having an acceleration curve that feels similar to Mac OSX's in a game is not fun to me (and why I don't enjoy FPS on OSX too).
