Tried my hand at trading today and lost 200k+ today thanks to bandit packs that weren't marked on the map. Is that a bug or what? There is no way a donkey can survive an ambush like that, I guess you're required to use a wagon if you don't want to randomly lose your load on occasion. Seems kind of bullshit to me.

It looks like they are addressing the trading exploit without completely removing trading and making some other nice changes.
Still waiting for the dark nights from CBT2.

It always cost energy to chat but they increased additional message cost to 3 each. There should be a cooldown between each message where the cost will be either 1 or 3 energy depending on the time of your last message. They also increased the character limit per message to accommodate.

Yeah, I'm fine with a greater emphasis on small area chat. I've got noooo problems with that. Then channel chat will more or less be reserved for those with something important to say, and people won't waste (literal) energy bitching about shit on Channel Chat.

The game isn't really that difficult and to be honest the guild can't do much for you. I've learned everything I've needed through Google and Discord chat.

It's not a bad idea to start organizing some practice PVP inhouse.

I'm all about that farming and questing son
So I started playing on your guys server, and I'm enjoying myself so far. Doing the different crafting quests out of Velia right now. My only problem so far is seeing different undesirables that were on my Archeage server, like The Black Tides and some individuals. But hopefully they don't end up as annoying in this game.

Ok having a wierd issue.
When I log in on a second computer, I can't use my Witch. It logs in and I can see her and what not... but the power bar never loads up and the mouse is always present. No mouse look mode. Can't move, walk, attack, or anything. Only command that works is the menu with esc.
Then I switch characters and everyone everything works like normal.
My witch is my highest level character, but I don't know why that would limit the playability like that? Any ideas?
I've tried video settings, window/windowless modes, logging in and out, switching characters back and forth, switching channels etc. No avail.
If anyone has an idea let me know.

Pets cost either 900 or 1100 pearls. Pearls are something like $0.01 each, so that makes them $9 or $11.
It also comes with
- a Horse Flute, which is worth $15.
- 5 pieces of furniture (your choice), each worth $2 - $5
The horse isn't something you can buy on the cash shop, but it's basically something you can get in-game (eventually).
You also get some random dyes and some partial skill resets, I think? Neither of which are worth all that much. Oh, and an appearance change coupon, which can be nice because there is occasionally a disconnect between what you saw in the character creator and how it actually ends up looking in the game.
Obviously, whether all that is worth $20 to you is a different matter, but it comes with more than $20 worth of stuff if you were to buy it on the cash shop later.

Guild leader or officer can start 5 guild missions per day (there's a reset timer, i THINK it's midnight UTC, which is the daily payday timer), and they are large-scale gather or kill missions. Such as collect 360 logs (cutting trees). Don't know about kill quests, those are all based on calpheon, and calpheon is fairly high-level.
So they are not personal quests, they are timed guild-wide quests
