Might as well start making beer. You'll need tons of it for workers and it levels cooking. Also, do any cooking related quests. You get tons of cooking exp for them for little effort.

Ah yes, I'm doing beer already. I mean, it's the only thing I'm doing right now with cooking.

I'm very lenient with my workers (or more like I'm so overwhelmed that sometimes I forget and don't make them work lol) so I didn't level it up. I think I'm almost at apprentice though.

Twitter feed said they are planning to release new content each month and said Blader would be coming soon. I can see the bigger content expansions like Mediah, Valencia I-III, etc. being 2-3 months or more apart maybe.

I'm pretty sure they are calling them Musa and Maehwa in our version. You can see the 'Musa' text in other stuff in the game already.

I think you can save the template for the character so you can quickly create an exact copy on a different server. Not sure if you can do it after you've already made the character though, or if it has to be done during character creation.

Thankfully I was fascinated by that feature and saved my character template haha.

You'll generally find that every MMO is. Translating game state is a very CPU intensive task.

I don't know how many threads BDO uses, as I haven't really looked yet, but generally this sort of thing prefers really speedy cores over total # of them. If you're playing this game, and have a modern Intel CPU, get that thing clocked to at least 4.0 GHz.

Press F4 in-game, you can also save appearance there too

I have the og 2500, non k. It's not exactly a breeze to run this game, and it seems it was more or less at the breaking point. I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU, since adjusting my graphics doesn't really affect my framerate a whole lot. That or just OC even more. :x

I think they are used to create herbal juice when combined w/ mineral water. They are more effective than potions.

Just got to Calpheon.

Okay, I'm impressed with the world building. The way it's all building up on each other makes me interested in seeing what's going on later on. Heidel having contempt for Calpheon, and showing artisans who were royally fucked over by this crafting guild, and then hitting Calpheon and seeing the names coming up again, it's actually fairly well done.

Honestly, my only complaints about the game are pretty minor:

1. Out of the 3 male classes, one is a cro-mag looking motherfucker and one is a mandatory old dude. That means that I can literally only make a decent-looking young guy as a warrior. Thankfully, this will be rectified with Blader and Ninja, but it sucks right now.

2. No trade. I know why they did this, I'm not arguing the logic of it, I just like helping my friends out and it sucks I can't send them spare gear.

3. The pop-in is crazy, even with everything maxed and high-end on. Game's gorgeous otherwise.

So far I've barely touched the actual game itself, but I gotta say it is hilarious when the male classes are nicely varied, but for female classes they all look like they're from a K-Pop girl group. Typical of a Korean MMO lol.

FF14 in a sense handles it better in that regard.

Yeah, if you don't like Valkyrie, go witch. Their healing powers are great, and they even give you reasons to use them outside of the standard healing because they give MP back too.

Not really, for example Sorceress dont look asian at all. Also, you can customize their faces a lot, hence why you see things like Emma Watson.

Nah, some classes don't look korean/ aasian at all. My Sorc looks FAR from korean/ asian

Leveling in BDO has been the most satisfying leveling experience since vanilla WoW for me.

Feels like I can do anything as I level and it will benefit me at any level.
