Bloodborne |OT3| I Cane, I Saw, I Conqu- YOU DIED

I just remembered- I parried an enemy so well he stopped existing. I was on a staircase against a werewolf in a chalice dungeon, and I parried him, and the knockback knocked him horizontally, but he didnt fall down the stairs vertically, so he went through the ceiling, getting stuck just chilling up there.

So yeah guys, endgame, let it be known I got so good I could parry things out of existence :3

I snuck up on an enemy, attacked close range as they turned around, they promptly dodged backwards into a wall, then up the wall into the air and then disappeared through the wall. I got it on video so it'll be on YouTube eventually.

Usually in these games, it's me that does the running away... Felt good to have it be the other way round that time haha.

How do you get back to the Unseen Village? One of those guys with bags took me there once when he killed me but I tried dying on purpose again to no avail. Is it one of them specifically?

Did you activate the lamp? If so just warp there from the third gravestone in Hunter's Dream.

I need some help a fellow gaffer and I are both on N
ightmare Mensis
we're both right by the lamp, I'm a level 101 and he's a level 93 yet we're having a hard time connecting to each other we've been sitting here for 30+ minutes to no avail, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas we can try to get us to connect? We've connected before and never had any issues but for the last two days its been acting really strange.

for new page if anyone else has any tips? :(

Is
Rom, The Viscious Spider
optional at all?
I'm having a super hard time with him. I dispise bosses which reply almost completely on adds.

Just took down S
hadow of Yarnham
. I thought I was going to hate this game because I usually don't have patience for over the top difficulty and re-trying things...but god damn if this isn't one of the most satisfying experiences ever.

After every boss fight my heart is racing and my hands are shaking. This game is the tits.

One of the giant trolls in the F
orbidden
W
oods
cave disappeared after trying to smash me with his fists. I was backing up into a small passage where he couldn't follow. He clipped through and disappeared; I didn't even get any echoes.

I beat this boss around mid 40s, and one shot him. Wear something with good Bolt defense (I wore
Henryk's
set.

Roll forward to dodge his swipe Attack and stay underneath him. Many people say not to lock on but I did. The camera was shit the whole time, but I could still see myself ok. When you're underneath just do a 3-4 hit combo then get ready to roll and dodge. He has an AOE shock attack, just unlock and run away, then repeat. He will stagger when he runs out of electricity and fall down, do charged R2 as much as you can and leave some stamina to roll. That's pretty much it.

About paarl
I also did the same and wore henrick's set.

I am not a 100% on this but IIRC a while into the fight he got scared and ran away from me..does this have something to do with the wearing the set or the rune ?

Never tried this, but what happens if you hit random NPC's? Can they die?

I want to test this, but this fucking game saves every single breath you take.

What's the point of no return? I just made it to
Mergo's Lost: Base despite that awful Frenzy crap.
I'd like to do some things before I finish.

How do you get back to Hypo G, though? I've killed Paarl but I want to go back(Kate!)

I don't know if you can other than taking the lantern warp back to Unseen Village. :/

There is an exit to Old Yarhnam from Paarl at least. lol

A little bit of a walk though..

Point of no return is when
the gate in the hunters dream opens up and you make a decision in there.

edit: beaten, but I believe you can actually go through it just don't make the decision you come upon.

A Bell Maiden can spawn if someone uses the Beckoning Bell and summons a person. I've not used the Beckoning Bell myself, but I've gone to help other people and a Maiden spawned in their world. In some areas it seems random, and others are more consistent. As an example in O
ld
Y
harnam
, I helped about 5 or 6 people and only one had a Bell Maiden spawn. However, in the W
itch
area, I helped about 7 or 8, and only one of them didn't have a Maiden spawn. Not one of them actually called a player to invade though, I dunno if that's because matchmaking is just not working.

Thanks! I'll try again tomorrow.

When the
hunters dream house is on fire
you are ready for the last boss

The point of no return is beating the final boss, which isn't in your current area. I thought the final boss and the location of the final fight were pretty indicative of the fact he was the final boss.

So if I didn't do the prostitute quest and killed
Iosefka
before
Rom
then I'm screwed out of the
"true" ending
, huh?

Beating the boss ends the game, that's not a point of no return :/

What bug?
I 100% the game, and I barely encounter any bug.

If you die and leave a bloodstain, the stain and all your echoes will disappear if you log out the game for any reason. Basically makes every boss portion into "beat this now without turning off the game" or else you get screwed over. Was playing on the big tv out in the main room fighting Amelia and moved my PS4 back to my room without thinking, lose all my echoes. It's bad.

Finally beat Father G last night after 6 attempts, I was shaking like a motherfucker afterwards. It was such an intense fight. I thought I was dead at least 3 times. Love it.

After the fight,
I found the Red Brooch on one of the bodies in the area. I took it back to the girl at the window in Yharnam, and she just cries and then nothing happens?

Anybody else fucked around with the
pebble storage box glitch/exploit?
I just did it on a second character for a pvp build. Spent 24 hours on my main character, only level 65. 1 hour on my second character, level 61.

I actually did the whole entire first area though before leveling up. Did the whole first area and the Cleric Beast and didn't die once.

Just beat it, y'all. Took 52 hours, with probably 9 of those being idle and another 2 waiting for pvp and summons. Used the Axe for the first half and Ludwigs for the second half. Faught all the bosses, went to every area, joined the covenants, and used cloud saves to see all the endings. Going to take a break until the weekend, then go for the platinum. Just need to do Chalice Dungeon stuff. Might start a heavily skill and bloodtinge focused character then too.

Favorite parts off the top of my head were
Cainhurst
and the
Forbidden Woods
. Favorite boss was
Gehrman
.

It's not as good as Dark Souls, but it's in the same ballpark. The combat is better, there are no real bad parts like Izalith, and the mood is just fucking rad. Finished it with a smile on my face after every ending. I just wish that there had been some kind of beast transforming stuff to replace magic instead of the item thingies. Runes and blood gems are great additions. The sky and the cosmos are one!
