Yea, FF7 sucked! It was pure visual eye candy. Fight scenes rocked and that's all.

This is one movie I'm really looking forward to. It was my first memory of a movie and that's why this flick holds a special place.

maybe you had a wrong expectation. I knew what I was expecting. I wasn't going for any storyline kinda crap, it's a Sci-fi, it's CG movie. So I bought it for the effects, the fights. You gotta give the props where its dues. CloudvSephi has to be one of the best sword fights ever. Even better than the wire-fu movies. At least CloudvSephi fight looks natural, but yet fast and mind boggling. The Bahamut fight kicks ass as well

Standalone obviously. No way will it be cheaper than PS3, maybe cheaper than 60gb. And $499 is a good realistic price.

Waht's the word on the quality of the transfer?
Because after Black Hawk Down and more importantly Kingdom of Heaven I'm very jaded. NOt going to buy the first release if its a shit transfer only to have to fork money over 8nmonthes down the line for a new one.
