How was your experience with Prime 2? It's my least favourite Prime, but god, how I love some of it's boss battles. Quadraxis was so oppressive and intense.
I enjoyed it. It was a lot different than Prime 1 in ways and I really liked that fact. I loved exploring Sanctuary Fortress especially the outer verticality of it, not that the other areas weren't interesting but we had already seen swamp/forest and desert/plains in Prime 1, and the dark aether/light aether mechanic was utilized in an interesting way. I feel like they could have made some better puzzles with it and with something like the echo visor since that seemed like a last minute addition. I did however enjoy the fact that the dark aether usually had different rooms to the light aether counterparts. The fact that it wasn't exactly the same room, just mostly the same size and shape, was great. So you'd come into what are basically new environments.
Dark and Light beams being ammo based is weird. I disliked that fact and don't understand why they, unlike the super bomb/missile doors, didn't make the doors completely disappear with that necessity after being used once was odd and at times annoying. I never had a moment where I completely ran out of ammo but it was always a worry that I felt was unnecessary to have given that in prime 1 the other beams had no such thing.
In terms of boss fights it was a mixed bag. The first two guardians were fun but I found them too easy, especially the fly. Quadraxis on the other hand is I think simultaneously my most and least liked boss fight. I enjoyed the oppressive and tense environment it was in especially since you had no light bubbles to help you, but goddamn is it obtuse in the beginning to hurt and the last part with the antennas was just godawful. I don't know if it was due to my poor positioning or if it's just a Metroid Trilogy thing but I couldn't lock on to the ones on the head and it caused me to miss my shots all the goddamn time. Dark Samus had some fun fights, except the last one which I felt was overly easy due to the time limit element. The one at the top of the elevator was great. Emperor Ing was alright, except for its last form where I could only hurt it using the light beam since the dark beam's shot is so fucking slow. Oh and going back to the beam complaints, the two charge shots for dark, light, and annihilator beam? Useless. Never bothered with them after trying it out once.
In terms of the story itself I was kind of pissed U-Mos didn't do more. He was so passive, yeah he had to guard his people and this is Samus' game but I would have liked to see something more done with that character especially since I just loved his design. Speaking of which, the dark and light suits. Holy shit, amazing looking except for the dark suit's shoulder pads but everything else is great. One thing that bothered me though is that it seems that in all the suits Samus has she's wearing thongs, it's weird.
Best part of the game though is something I saw in a video before I played this. The video details why Other M is so shit, and in it the guy uses how Samus reacts to Dark Samus as a point. I agreed with it in the video and I loved it even more seeing it here. I remember being sketchy on people wanting Dark Samus as a playable character in Smash, thinking that it'd basically be her version of Dark Pit, but hell if she isn't her own character. I love her little tricks and differences to Samus' usual arsenal. I would love to see her continue to become more of her own entity. I haven't played Prime 3 all that much yet, only the first hour or so, so I know she's back in that. I'm guessing she dies in it too but I really enjoyed the little nuances she has to her moves and how Samus reacts to her whenever they're together. Samus showing no fear and being the badass we know she is and not that awful Galactic Federation propaganda smear/Fever Dream version of Other M is just amazing.
I wrote a lot more on that than I thought I would, to summarize: I had fun, don't think it's the best Metroid game but I had a good time. I need to play Prime 3 to see where they stand compared to each other.
Eu concordo com muito de suas críticas, a munição pras armas light e dark é uma decisão bem estúpida mesmo. Já os bosses, eu adorei a maioria, você jogou a versão original do cube ou a trilogy do Wii? Não me lembro bem, mas acho que no Wii não tem o lock-on, certo? Com isso no gamecube, era bem mamata. Algo que detestei nele foi o backtracking - era um saco voltar em determinadas partes do jogo, especialmente aquelas que ficavam te forçando a alternar entre dark e light aether.
I played the trilogy version of Prime 2 but the cube version of Prime 1. It does have lock on in a sense, that you can stay fixed on an enemy but your shots don't go automatically to the enemy, you still need to aim with the wiimote to hit. Which is fine most of the time, except when you had to fire at skinny little antennas who didn't even have the lock on to help. I felt that the backtracking was at times bothersome but at least to me it was something that made sense. And like I said I didn't mind it as much since the change up in the way you approached the rooms were usually good enough to make it seem like a different place instead of being the exact same to navigate through.

Comprei os Primes quando saíram pro Wii U mas não joguei nenhum porque não tenho Wii motes. Além do que eles pesam mais de 8gb.

Tirando o DLC de graça para todos os backers do Yooka Laylee, nunca vi NENHUMA diferença entre comprar o jogo pronto e apoiar kickstarter que ja tava financiado
Eu normalmente entro no Kickstarter antes de o jogo estar financiado, porque realmente depois não tem muito motivo. A não ser que o jogo físico seja exclusivo dos backers, ai tudo bem. Eu acho que vai ser muito difícil que o Shenmue 3 não saia no retail quando o jogo estiver pronto, mas vai que realmente não saia. Eu estou na dúvida aqui, nunca joguei nenhum jogo da série, apesar de ter os dois.

Gintama é excelente. Porém, só começa a ficar muito bom no episódio 25.
Estou no episódio 12 com essa expectativa pelo episódio 25 mas já estou me divertindo bastante.
O episódio duplo que começa a série é uma rosca infinita, though.
Meu GOTY até o momento (ganhando por pouco do Operation Abyss). Recomendo para todos fãs de RPG que tenham um Vita (ou PS3). Só cuidado para quem está lendo ou pretende ler o summary do Ciel nosurge, tem spoilers do final do Ciel na análise.

Eu não acredito que deixei acabarem as unidades antes de eu comprar, agora to fudido para achar uma cópia. Vou ter de pagar um premium no ebay. E eu só queria o jogo mesmo, não quero edição limitada. Mandei email pro fabricante, mas disseram que não vão fazer mesmo a edição normal. Uma bosta.
O pior que várias outras lojas, não só a loja da NIS America, venderam a edição limitada do jogo, até mais em conta para os brasileiros do que a NISA.
VGP+, Play-Asia e Estarland, as três venderam cópias do jogo por umas duas semanas, com frete mais barato que o da NISA. Minha cópia da NISA mesmo chegou semana passada sem ser taxada, não tem como brincar com essas edições limitadas.
A edição limitada do Danganronpa: Another Episode está com menos de 25% com mais de um mês para o lançamento, essa é outra que vai esgotar antes do lançamento e muita gente vai ficar chupando o dedo, sorte que fiz a minha pre-order mês passado.

Não consigo justificar pegar a LE do novo Danganronpa, eu adoro a série mas meus favoritos são o 1 e o 2, pegar o LE desse spinoff e não ter dos outros seria bem meh pra mim.
