BrazilGAF |OT| of Samba, Carnaval... and letting GAF have a sample of it all!

I'm think it is a gift from heaven a brazilian gamer living near Paraguai.

Joinville is pratically a Curitiba bairro :p

Foz... yeah, what UnaiGamer said.
Too bad it's a 10-hour trip now. Waiting months for a game in the mail compared to crossing the street and paying US price for them....
My godmother-cousin lives about 3 blocks from the bridge. I hope they visit us this year too :D
Or maybe I'll go to the Iguaçu Falls again, whatever comes first.

I wasn't going all digital with the Wii U, but the retail prices are so expensive even on Mercado Livre, so I'm buying everything from the eShop now.

Digital is the way to go for us it seems, with these crazy prices... I only buy physical copies of games I really want to have or if there is a CE that is to good to let go.

And who isn't canadian ? =P

After the "not buying dollars converted into real" thing that most banks did, not even Phoenix Wright (and other games that are CHEAPER on brazilian eshop) are an option

....more club nintendo coins for virtual console games I guess

It is, but the store still rejects it for some reason.

Change the province/state

A friend had his credit card rejected by Yukon but worked on Alberta

You can change the province/state after you put funds in your canadian eshop for one with smaller tax

New 3DS updates blocks to change country.

Banks block brazilian 3DS usage

OH BOY WHAT A CHANGE ! =P

I've just became a Canadian forever. It is unacceptable to wait for the Brazilian eshop to release Shin Megami Tensei costumes, they are essential to my playthrough. Those tax free cheaper games are a bonus too.

My 3DS has it configured to the US, NJ to be more precise. Is it too late to change countries? I want to change to somewhere where there isn't a bullshit sales tax.

Nope. Only after the update and only after you create (or link) your Nintendo Network ID.

What if I dont link it to Nintendo Network or whatever? The change will still be blocked? I dont even have a Wii U anyway.

What is the actual difference between Canada and US? In prices, I mean. Is Canada much cheaper?

Canada is actually more expensive. The price is the same, but in Canada you pay 5% of tax.

But, not everybody can buy from the US eShop, and the Canadian eShop is way more friendly to foreign customers.

Anybody know a state in the US with no sales tax? I can just get my sister to buy eshop prepaid cards there when I need to buy dlc or something.

Ah, I see. Thanks!

I used Oregon to redeem my $30 bonus from the SMT IV X FEA promotion.

I will keep my canadian citizenship, thank you.

Probably you will not be able to post on Miiverse

You need a NNID to post on Miiverse and to download demos and free stuff. (Said on the Direct.

Who cares about Miiverse anyway? :lol
Sorry.

But fuck I want my demos! I swear to God Nintendo has been terrible with these region locks and etc. Fuck off with these.

You 3DS people all need to buy Senran Kagura Burst to raise the odds of a Shinovi Versus localization.

Life and hometown for all, etc.
