I agree, Fly was a crucial(and beautiful) episode.satriales said:It's all about the characters. If it wasn't for Fly then the events that occur in the final two episodes wouldn't have been nearly as impactful as they were.

Oh...my...god...I am far too excited about this being back on the air!

How about you pick some of these chemicals and mix up some rocket fuel? That way you could just send up a signal flare. Or you make some kind of robot to get us help, or a homing device, or build a new battery, or... Wait. No. What if we just take some stuff off of the RV and build it into something completely different? You know, like a... Like a dune buggy. That way, we can just dune buggy or... What? Hey? What is it? What?

"Walt and Jesse face deadly consequences" and "Skyler deals with a puzzling disappearance." Vince Gillian has said they're going to kill of a regular character in the premiere. This leads me to think someone is going to kill Walter Jr. I hope I'm wrong.

The current speculation is that Victor is the one to go, with the theory being that Gus kills him (with a box cutter) after neighbours in Gale's apartment saw him. Gus is trying to eliminate loose ends.

I'm not going to argue the definition of filler, but it's undeniably a very important episode. If you look at the relationship between Walt and Jesse in the previous episode and then see how they are in the episode after that, it is clear as day that 'Fly' strenthened their bond and I also think it strenthened the audience's bond with both characters.Blader5489 said:That doesn't not make it filler.
I think people are afraid of branding Fly as a filler ep because most filler eps in most shows are pretty bad. Fly was pretty good, but that doesn't change the fact that it was a total filler story.
