Damn, Jesse really doesnt give a shit anymore as previously said, especially with the money bag, it was like "whatever man". Btw, where is the spoiler command?! I cant find it anymore.

Most beautiful cinematography on TV right now is a tossup between Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.

And no matter if you actually like the show or not, Camelot has some truly stunning compositions as well.

Game of Thrones, really? I just rewatched episodes 3-10 yesterday and I would the cinematography is no where close to Breaking Bad.

I'd say it's a better show than Breaking Bad but shot better? No I wouldn't say that.

Well, the plot is finally going somewhere, though I do hope that they shake things up soon. I want them to break free from Gus, part of the show's charm earlier on was how they constantly had to figure out new ways to cook and sell meth (though it was ridiculous how they kept on losing all the money they made). Now with that aspect of the show gone, along with Walt's ticking time bomb in form of cancer they have to invent new ways to make things interesting.

Jesse being trained to be Mike's successor could definitely be interesting, though I'm not so sure if that's the route they are going to take. I don't really like the car wash subplot, even if I don't hate Skyler as much as others do (yes, yes, I know, she fucked Ted (I liked how Walt dropped it this episode out of nowhere)). The only major problem I have with the character is that her weight gain stands out, but that's not Gilligan's fault.

My favourite scene of the episode was definitely Gale's karaoke, a terrific combination of hilarity and tension. I guess Hank is gonna finally go after Walt this season, but that remains to be seen.

It seems pretty obvious that Walt will try to pull some shenanigans in the lab now that he has found out that the camera can be distracted. I suspect that will result in some major plot point eventually.

I was hoping and waiting for Saul to call out Walt on his shit during their conversation about wondering how things went so wrong and about Walt being the only one acting in a professional manner. Things really spiraled out of control when Walt lost his sense of professionalism and hit the two drug dealers with his car. Up until that point things had gotten a bit tense with Gus, but nowhere near the point where they went immediately afterward with Gus deciding to kill Walt and Jesse.

i kind of got the feeling it was just conveying how they were watching jesse, foreshadowing him being kidnapped by them.

I think its really apples to oranges with the both. Breaking Bad doesn't have the elaborate period set pieces to deal with and even then there are some gorgeous scenes in GOT. Characterizations are better (nuanced) on Breaking Bad for me but the show isn't dealing with a bunch of PoVs. I honestly can't place one over the other.

I'm sick of all these mood changes Jesse has after every episode. and skylar getting this involved is just annoying

Jesse's behavior is expected from what is happening to him.

And I find it more annoying the hate Skyler gets. She's a perfectly normal character and I enjoy watching her. She's great this season.

She fucked ted dude, she should be in that shady hotel being the whore that she is instead of sharing screen time with poor ol' walt.

Seriously. The people with this hate Skyler banner are at self-parody level at this point really.

Skyler just shot herself in the foot.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about male-female relationships (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like on Game of Thrones where you can become a likeable character by fucking whoever you want. If you cheat on your husband in Breaking Bad, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means is BB viewers, after watching season 3, are not going to enjoy any of Skyler's future plotline, nor will they like any of her scenes. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Skyler has alienated an entire fanbase with her move.

Skyler better publicly apologize and disappear from the show or she can kiss the remnants of her fanbase goodbye.

She fucked Ted dude. She fucked Ted.

I enjoyed Game of Thrones (and really loved the first 3 ASoIaF books), but it isn't anywhere near the quality of Breaking Bad.

lmao does every episode really end up with a Skylar debate?! Not that there is anything wrong with that...just with all the other pressing matters like the revenge-filled cartel or the professionally psychopathic boss or the hell-bent business partner. :D

Breaking Bad's cinematography is probably the best i've ever seen in TV drama. Hell, the cinematography in Mike's intro scene from last night was better than many movies i've seen these days.

It'd be fun to watch all of the cold opens back-to-back sometime.

They need to give Bob Odenkirk some more funny lines.

Walt: What if he puts two and two together and he goes after Jesse for the murder?
Saul: Goes after him how? On his Rascal Scooter?”

Déjà vu.

not really.. that scene actually meant something

we all know nothing is gonna happen to jesse

also that's obviously a low quality screenshot, saying it's "shot like shit" based on that is dumb

I would actually say that Breaking Bad's general tone owes a little bit to The Sopranos, but with respect to actual direction/cinematography/editing, it's not even close.

i didnt have a problem with skyler in seasons 1-3 but this season she's starting to annoy me.

way too involved, trying too hard, etc.. i want more walt and less of her. he used to figure shit out now he's kowtowing everything to skyler

My speculation about the fate of Mike. Spoilerish.

Mike lives at least until we see him wearing a purple shirt. The minute he wears a purple shirt, he's dead. Trust

It's a repeat of his mundane life. I'm sure it's intentional.

Skylar sucked the brilliance out of walt once and she's doing it again. He's incredibly sheepish around her.

I didn't understand the point of this. Why was he in there? And why were there guys shooting at him?

He's protecting a shipment and the cartel are trying to send a message to Gus.

it was a silly scene, despite being quite beautifully shot.

if they knew someone was in there why wouldnt they just throw a grenade or something. too obvious

I don't think they expected anyone to be in there.

I must be the only one that has loved Jesse's subtle exposition over the past four episodes.
I don't want to gush over how amazing Jesse is and how much I'm in love with the show because I do that every week but....this show is fucking amazing.
