what is truly funny is how many of you are surprised by this. do any of youeven understand what evidence is?

Well, in this case it basically comes down to do they believe Jackson or the Boy, there wasn't a whole lot of evidence, just a lot of people testifying in both directions. But, the surprising thing, to me, is that all of the so called experts said that the way things were going at the end of the trial, and the amount of time it was taking for the jury, indicated that he was guilty.

As I said earlier, I didn't follow the trial all that closely. The winner in all of this are those of us who could care less, so now they can get this crap off my TV set.

He's weird, yes, and he could be guilty, but there's no evidence.
Beaten to the punch.

i've only been following the case very casually, but what evidence was shown to prove he was guilty of any of the charges?

In any case, i look forward to the inevitable skits (Chappelle don't disappoint me) that arise from this.

Can't be guilty of the alcohol charge without the rest - the charge was of "Administering an intoxicating agent to assist in the commission of a felony (child molestation)". If he didn't do the molestation, he can't have got the kid drunk to assist in the commission of it.

MSNBC said differently, that he could be convicted of a misdemeanor of giving alcohol to a minor, even if it wasn't to molest him, much like a bartender who serves underage patrons. That said, Not Guilty.

and I will say this. if he does molest kids (which I don't think he does), hopefully next time the prosecution will actually build a case against him before going to trial.

If he doesn't molest kids, why did he have a settlement for the last kid that sued him?

Hmmmmm. Well... they may have not convicted due to ample reasonable doubt, but I suspect this will now go to a civil court where he will be struck with punitive damages. There may not be enough to convict him of a crime.

In an ideal world, in cases like this, the loser would have to pay for trial costs.

I think you're funny. Keep on fighting the good fight my man!
the good fight, such as needing to have evidence to be found guilty? such as needing eye witness testimony to be found guilty? such as needing to be guilty beyond a reasonable doubt?

sounds like a good fight to be fought. don't know what the fuck you are talking about.

Man talk about being shocked. I thought from day one he was going to get popped, regardless of if he did it or not. The only good thing out of this is Catherine Crier is probably taking her life right at this moment. It's one thing to believe or think he's guilty, but she seemed to have had it out for the man as if he molested her.

I'm happy he's been acquitted. Not becuase I don't think he's done something wrong (Ido think he has, though perhaps not with this boy)-- but becuase the case against him was so laughable that I'd be worried for any innocent man if they had convicted.

OH HELL YEAH, Am playing thriller this right FUCKING minute, the man who brought us THRILLER can do no wrong.

Tony Metola will weep in his bed tonight, hahahaha

How many people believe Dave Chappelle was holding off on making the 3rd season until the outcome of this trial? :D

Geez, Fox News is totally apologist for the prosecution.

Edit: Teflon molester, IQ tests for CA jurors, Fox News is so fucking right wing.

Honestly we don't know all the evidence that was shown, none of us were in the courtroom. Yeah, he acts weird. But unless you have enough proof, you're not going to make anything stick. I'm surprised that he got off completely, but maybe I just figured there was more proof against him.

If you are on trial by jury of your peers and they are GAFers you are so screwed.

Peers "Screw the evidence, he looks funny and said something bad about Nintendo, GUILTY!"

Haha, prior to the announcement, FOX NEWS and Shepard Smith were practically guaranteeing he was guilty.

Or you could turn the question around and ask, if the kid was molested, why would he agree to a settlement. You can't point to any settlement that is agreed upon by both partys as proof of guilty of either one.

My nigga Jacko walks!!! White folks am cry. :lol Of course, he's guilty as shit, but I'm glad he walked. You're just asking for it sending your kids to his molesting ranch. Red niggas in jail for the same crime are scratching their heads right now. PEACE.

I have mixed feelings about this. I am glad Jackson will not have this kind of scar on his record of history, but there is another side to it.

The other side is that I wanted him guilty because I really want this guy to get help. He absolutely needs therapy, and this would be the best oppurtunity. No one makes Jackson do anything, but a guilty verdict would have changed that.

CBS said the police were looking into the crowd for people whom might commit suicide if Jackson was found guily.

Not suprising. The radical right doesn't like things that are different, and rely on ideas without the facts to back it up.

I think Double Jeopardy applies to same charges involve the same kid, not just any kid.

Its not even the same kid!

DJ says that you cannot be convicted of the same CRIME (instance of action) twice. If he were to perform the same action with the same child, he could end up back in court and convicted on that crime. Its not a get out of jail free card to perform the crime you were acquitted of.

I'm really glad. I've supported him through the entire case and it's good to see it's all over. Maybe people can stop criticizing now and just leave the man alone. :D

Now Jackson can have another sleep over to celebrate, bitches!

"C'mon kiddies, no cover charge at neverland!!"

Seriously, Money will buy you anything: skin color, female parts, make-up, not guilty verdicts, wigs... i mean MJ is the american dream.

There's no question that Jacko and his family are a bunch of freaks. But the family of this kid was fucked up too. I would have liked to seen everyone involved recieve some kind of punishment.

Mistaken iRobbery!
If you are listening to Jack FM the announcer goes:

"Jackson's not guilty... I guess he Beat it?!? "

*then Beat It plays*

:lol

Mike surely needs help, but that doesn't mean he had ever crossed the line. The prosecutions case is text book example of how you fuck up a trial basically--all that was proven was that Mike has a lot of questionable folks hanging around him.

I truly hope that there is are people in his inner circle that honest enough to tell him that there is a problem and needs to get help. He'll be back to square one again if he keeps on believing that he is Peter Pan.
