Haha, FOX NEWS is basically making it sound like the juror was crazy not to convict!

"IT SEEMED THAT THE PERFECT RECIPE FOR A GUILTY VERDICT WAS THERE."

I'm really glad. I've supported him through the entire case and it's good to see it's all over. Maybe people can stop criticizing now and just leave the man alone. :D

How about when he stops sharing his bed with little boys?

I agree the case was weak and I am happy that they didn't convict on that crap, but do people really think he didn't to anything? He's got alarms around his bed, for god's sake. Why?

The guy is more than a freak, but he's pop royalty, so people will ignore "indiscretions." Lame.

Can they pass a special law, or issue some type of restraining order, forbidding that freak from being alone with children not of his own blood, or from sleeping in the same room with them?

Yeah, because they have the same level of burden of evidence as the government. All you need is an environment or recipe for something to be true - not actual evidence that it IS true.

I don't understand people who cheer/scorn these verdicts. Its like there are 2 types of people involved here:

A) Love MJ, stood outside the courtroom to yell "not guilty" for weeks before the verdict. Now I can understand being a fan of a celebrity/star, but given that you couldn't possibly assess their guilt/innocence, shouldn't you suspend judgment until the ruling arrives? Wouldn't that make you scum for cheering for a man who committed a felony? And does it really make you vindicated for cheering for him if he's innocent, especially given that you really could never know without having all the evidence? Scum.

B) Hate MJ, stood outside the courtroom to yell "pervert" for weeks before the verdict. Again I can relate to not liking certain celebs, but is that reason enough to cheer for the conviction of someone who may in fact be innocent? And if he is guilty, does that somehow make you all the wiser for calling it ahead of time given that your assessment was based merely on your presumptuous distaste for him and not hard evidence? Could you really feel good about yourself? Scum.

I'm glad that the trial is over simply for the fact that the circus will die down now, and I hope for the child's sake and for the integrity of the justice system that Jackson is in fact innocent, because it would be a tragedy if in fact he did commit a crime and the system failed the child. But my feelings toward Jackson give me no cause for celebration/dismay given the way the verdict came out, because quite frankly, they have no bearing on his guilt/innocence. Him being a freak that strikes me as odd is not reason enough to hope for his guilt, nor is my youthful adoration of him as the penultimate pop star reason enough to celebrate his innocence. I wish people could divorce themselves of their emotion when it comes to sobering judgments such as these..

I thought he should've been hit with a restraining order keeping him away from children under the age of 18. This protect children if he really is a molester, and himself from money grubbing opportunits.

Sure.... and then he'll sue the California government for some obscene amount of money and call it Jacksonville.

Yes, but only right after they pass a law forbidding any further judgemental asses to open their mouths regarding this man.

Haha, the government spent FOUR MILLION DOLLARS prosecuting this case!

Well.. to be fair.. Howard Stern says that he had an office in his old home with a steel door and electronic locks so people wouldnt catch him masturbating.

MJ doesn't go out and kidnap young boys to put on his bed. Parents allow their children to live with him and sleep on his bed, so yes he may be a little strange but how about turning it around and saying maybe parents should stop letting their kids sleep over with Michael Jackson.?

What about Psychic Sylvia Brown? Didn't someone make a thread about her awhile back about how Michael would definetly be found guilty this time?

How would the government go about restraining someone who has not been found guilty of anything from doing something that everyone else can do?

Not guilty then.

Now the next step is to sort things out by a) ditching all the hangers-on who've given him bad advice b) sort out his finances by selling all the crap he doesn't need (the stuff he had in storage at LA airport for starters) and c) record a new album that's actually IN TOUCH WITH WHAT'S GOING ON IN POPULAR MUSIC (don't ditch The Neptunes and give all their rejected songs to Justin Timberlake this time around, and maybe get Rich Harrison (Beyonce/Amerie) onboard as well, or even Xenomania from the UK)... Sort. It. Out.

Alarms, people. ALARMS!

Suck it DOWN you MicJac haterz! :)

Mike mentally is a little kid... but I've never thought he was a pedophile...what he needs to do is sell Neverland. I'd heard a rumor he already had and was just going to exchange keys after the case was over.. guess we'll see.

If you are listening to Jack FM the announcer goes:

"Jackson's not guilty... I guess he Beat it?!? "

*then Beat It plays*

:lol

My local 80's/90's station started playing Beat It as well :lol The DJ didn't make any sarcastic comment about it, but she seemed pretty pleased with the outcome.

Forgetting a moment about the legal system, and proof, what do YOU think having pressure alarms on the floor around your bed would be for? What do you think of a grown man who sleeps with children that aren't his? C'mon, forget his artisitic achievements and look at what's the LIKELY truth.

Not that you can convict on that-- as I said, I am not unhappy with the verdict-- but I certainly think he's doing something that I think is wrong.

But you're basing that alone on things like the fact that he has an alarm on his bedroom door, which, only by wildly speculating, I could give you about 1000 reasons as to why (none of them being molesting).

You know, if I was a multi-millionaire world music phenomenon who already has 1000s of people who think he's a perverted child molester, I'd have a few pressure sensitive alarms around my bed, too.

Not that I dont agree with you(I do agree with u) but what are the 1000 reasons, I would like them all listed here...

Perhaps now all these new stations will fire all their questionable legal 'analysts'...

Most political analysts predicted Kerry would win after exit polls. Nearly all game industry analysts thought the PSP would dominate the DS. How many of them have been fired again?

I can't wait to see how the more zealous members of the media react. Should be comedic gold.

You should watch Courtv. They all predicted Jackson was going to be guilty and than they were all making excuses and pretty much saying he got off after the verdice was announced.

I really hate that team. They are ridiculously pro-prosecution and never even try to analyze the evidence.

I have Michael Jackson's "Number Ones" album on my iPod, and as soon as my mom gets back (cuz it's in the car), I'm going to blast it outside on my stereo system. :)
