What's the point of playing a video game? What's the point?
Just asking, I don't have the game.
Yeah, everyone kept talking about how massive the game world was and when I started playing I realized it wasn't insurmountable. Sure, it's BIG, but it never feels like you're just wandering aimlessly with nothing to look at and interact with. The landscape is peppered with tons of stuff to do.Might as well screw the contest and glide from Hebra Mountain, to make it a total cross-Hyrule glide. 3/4 of the continent is pretty cool though.
Kind of puts into perspective how tiny Hyrule actually is, and you have people complain it's "too big and empty".

How do you get so many arrows

Just to see if it can be done? like any of these arbitrary tasks

I think he might've been able to fly even a bit farther had he created updrafts all the way to the very edge of that cliff, but this was cool regardless. The Eventide ending was pretty funny too.
lolololololThe prize is 100 rupees
The game is not about end rewards. No tangible game reward can compensate for some of the experiences.lololololol
The rewards in this game are so shitty.

you play lots. And you buy out every vendor you can find. Although I'm not exactly sure if there's a reliable bomb arrow farming spot

You can get that prize with a significantly lower distance, I imagine. Anyone know what the threshold is?

The gliding is normally about a minute long and 500-700m.lololololol

Not even a trophy? Why would you even play that trash?I played Tetris today and reached a really big score and there wasn't any reward at all? Like why did I spend half an hour playing, wow.
Paid $60 for it.
I think a lot of us are enjoying the world were a decent reward isn't needed. This isn't a mutually exclusive scenario. The sidequests have such lame rewards for the amount of work needed to put in.

This person is just trying to see how far they can push the gliding, the minigame is only there because it has a built in distance meter.
? It's a perfectly decent reward for something that isn't even a quest, you just meet a guy who asks you to glide, you do it for a minute, and it teleports you back and he gives you money.I understand that. That's still a pretty crappy reward for that subquest. I was wondering what you could get from that subquest and it's something meager like that.
Not even an Elon Musk shuttle launch?I played Tetris today and reached a really big score and there wasn't any reward at all? Like why did I spend half an hour playing, wow.

We should have seen this coming. Dudes want tags for all the posts and this is the eventual outcome. GAF-internet-GAF? The bowling minigame gives you potentially 300 rupees for something conceivably easier and just as quick. It's a problem with most of the missions/quests/minitasks in the game in the in-game rewards are pretty barebones.
