Breath of the Wild player glides for 7.6km without touching ground

Might as well screw the contest and glide from Hebra Mountain, to make it a total cross-Hyrule glide. 3/4 of the continent is pretty cool though.

Kind of puts into perspective how tiny Hyrule actually is, and you have people complain it's "too big and empty".
Yeah, everyone kept talking about how massive the game world was and when I started playing I realized it wasn't insurmountable. Sure, it's BIG, but it never feels like you're just wandering aimlessly with nothing to look at and interact with. The landscape is peppered with tons of stuff to do.

Didn't they calculate the size of hyrule much bigger prior this flight? In the end one could also argue about how accurate the measurement of distance really is in the game, I guess...

I remember when the first footage came out when it was still known as Zelda WiiU and everyone was worried about a massive, but empty, nothing to do land.

I think he might've been able to fly even a bit farther had he created updrafts all the way to the very edge of that cliff, but this was cool regardless. The Eventide ending was pretty funny too.

I was wondering about that, maybe something about Eventide makes it break if he flies too far?

Why does fast travel take time when he can just be instantly teleported like at the end there..

I love hearing about people pushing the internal systems of a game to their limits.

Super Monkey Ball on Gamecube was another one where you could get the game to do crazy, unintentional things.

The game is not about end rewards. No tangible game reward can compensate for some of the experiences.

Some more cool unique armor pieces or quest exclusive weapons would've been nice.

Though to be fair to the quest all you gotta do to get the rupees is glide down normally.

you play lots. And you buy out every vendor you can find. Although I'm not exactly sure if there's a reliable bomb arrow farming spot

Not really farming, but Gerudo Town sells 60 of them if I recall correctly.

I wonder if you could get further away than they did if you don't land on Eventide Island?

I played Tetris today and reached a really big score and there wasn't any reward at all? Like why did I spend half an hour playing, wow.

lololololol

The rewards in this game are so shitty.
The gliding is normally about a minute long and 500-700m.

This person is just trying to see how far they can push the gliding, the minigame is only there because it has a built in distance meter.

With Pieces of Heart being out of the game, all of the mini-games and tasks never really felt worth it, outside of completion percentage.

I only bowled a bunch when I needed a bunch of rupees and had already sold everything I didn't mind giving up.

I understand that. That's still a pretty crappy reward for that subquest. I was wondering what you could get from that subquest and it's something meager like that.

? It's a perfectly decent reward for something that isn't even a quest, you just meet a guy who asks you to glide, you do it for a minute, and it teleports you back and he gives you money.

The jovial music really matches the scene of Link raining down fiery death upon the bokoblins and wildlife of Hyrule for amusement.

We should have seen this coming. Dudes want tags for all the posts and this is the eventual outcome. GAF-internet-GAF

The bowling minigame gives you potentially 300 rupees for something conceivably easier and just as quick. It's a problem with most of the missions/quests/minitasks in the game as the in-game rewards are pretty barebones.

Have to agree.. least rewarding Zelda game I've played.. there's no sense of achievemebts for the dungeons (outside the 4 main).
