How easy is it to get an dual Irish passport if my Mum has dual citizenship and my grandparents are Irish?

If you have Irish grandparents you're fine. Proof of birth is all that's needed from both your grandparent and parent, I believe.

My mother is Irish so I'm thankful for Ireland and their new London (Dublin).

The remain campaign were pretty confident a year ago. Look at them today. Never discount the power of racial politics

The issue with racial politics is that Trump's approach literally burns whatever bridges he might have with the non-white Republican voter base.

The general trend is that the Republican Party is dependent on the white vote, that is actually shrinking in size as time goes on.

Trump's disapproval rate amongst Hispanic and Black communities is universally negative. He's actually offensive enough to actually burn bridges even in states such as Utah.

Racial based politics works when you don't actually openly tell your base that you want to fuck them hard.

Scotland should definitely have another referendum. Afterall EU membership was a key issue in the last one. I don't think they signed up for a UK that is not in EU.

4% lead with 50% reporting, I think that seals it unfortunately.

I gotta think the moaning and wailing is a bit overdone.

Last time i visited the UK I couldn't spend Euros, had to go through passport control, and so on and so forth. Whatever the UK re-negotiate regarding free trade agreements etc with the mainland are not going to contain special "punishment-you-left" clauses. The financial systems are still globally linked, London is still the financial capital of the world and I'm damn sure it is going to save its own skin. Some people are talking as though england is migrating to the moon or something.

I am from, and still live in the NE of England. This vote is making me pretty depressed, as I am fully aware of how little support this region receives from the UK govt, nearly all inward investment is due to our EU membership.

If my compatriots think it's bad now, just wait 5 years.

Still I won't feel any schadenfraude over it, as I won't be able to afford to leave either.

And if the EU is bad to the UK because of this, honestly it proves the UK did the right decision. Like an abusive ex partner torturing their obsession. Best to rip-off the bandaid.

It proves that contracts are serious matters. Me I hope to see the smaller nations are quick so they can gain on this. Where my shit comes from doesn't really matter as long as it follows the rules and isn't slavery.

My partner's father is Irish and she's made it very clear that she'll be claiming her Irish passport should we leave.

Yes. Scotland absolutely needs a referendum immediately, they didn't sign up to be a part of this fucking shitshow. I actually want to travel there again in the near future.

I am honestly proud of my fellow peeps in the UK. I was a leave voter but I was fully expecting remain to win. I honestly did not think this country had any fucking balls left to vote for leave. I am so glad they have found the balls to do this.

On another note god I would love to see Davey Camerons fucking face right now.

The one time Cameron does good for the country and the outcome is this. He might as well keep fucking the country over, because he'll lose either way.

EU, as much faulty as it is, pours money in to the country directly and indirectly. Its gonna be interesting to see the poor part of the country who voted LEAVE, get fucked over because London is rich as it is. And the worse part o it is, the freedom you lot are seeking from EU governing body is gonna backfire, because guess what? EEA country still have to abide from EU regulations despite not being from EU and you don't get to vote on these regulations.

I honestly don't see a coherent argument on why LEAVE is better for the country when its obvious that the ripple effect will gonna last for generations.

EDIT: and to be fair, I am saying this as someone who is not affected by the change. I work at a small Architectural Firm where all our project are UK based and based on our reputation, the projects will come our way either way, but I am worried about people who depend their income on economical status of the country and the ones who work for trading and leisure industries.

Please do not let me serve on a jury. I am actually a crazy person.
I have some 5k dollars i need to convert to euros, now that i think of it.
It's probably a good time to do that. Or will be in two hours.

FTSE 100 trending up, though. (But this could be wrong data, as obviously LSE is closed right now.)

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
WALES: SOS! HELP! CAN ANYONE HEAR US? PLEASE RESPOND!

EU: What seems to be the problem?

WALES: THERE'S A COCKING DRAGON AND ITS BURNING EVERYONE ALIVE! HELP!

EU: As one of our many contributions to your great nation, we installed expensive sonar equipment that kept the red winged menace trapped deep within the bowels of the Earth and dormant. You chose to abandon that program on June 23rd 2016. Our technicians inform us that without regular upkeep and costly crystarium ore fuel the Anti-Dragon machines would fail within the year. We wish you all the best.

That doesn't make much sense... They won't owe the uk anything. In fact, they have an incentive to punish as harshly as civility permits to maintain internal cohesion. The U.K. Is now a foreign country, not at the table anymore and has to come negotiating like every other country. The terms are unlikely to be as nice as they are for the Swiss, Norwegians and such.

The U.K. had an opportunity to play a major role. Now it's just a minor player surrounded by big dogs.
